I ordered a baked potato with brisket and it barely had brisket, about 1 oz spread around with bunch of bbq sauce on for $20 . It wasn’t tasty either.. the grill back there looked gross too. Last and 1st visit . Overrated place for sure.

I really enjoyed the brisket at this neighborhood joint, where the staff and chef are welcoming and friendly. I was in the area for a meeting and could not be happier to have come upon this gem. The potato salad and jalapeno pineapple coleslaw were excellent sides. I was full in the stomach and heart after this lunch (I didn't eat for another ten hours). I'll be back next time I'm in town for that smoky brisket and spicy sauce.

Let’s go karaoke. I imagine the place has a fun atmosphere!Loaded fries. It’s good but nothing special to will wow you.The pineapple coleslaw was surprisingly good. The potato salad was bland.Fyi. Wait to be seated.

Hands down best little restaurant in Irving. The customer service was amazing, felt very welcome. All food made fresh in house, down to the bbq sauce and seasonings. Had the pleasure of talking with the chef(extremely nice gentleman) and he talked about some of the flavors and seasonings used in his recipes. Do yourself a favor, ORDER THE CHICKEN FRIED BACON!!

Food was delicious. The jalapeno gravy is a must try. Staff were delightful. Atmosphere is very comfortable. I felt like I was back in childhood at my Grandmother's table, which was always awesome and enjoyable. We will definitely be back over and over again!

Pancake battered french toast and chicken fried bacon?! This is probably the most creative recipe I've ever seen, but it is the most hands-down, a**-smacking combination of foods I've ever had. I rarely eat bacon, but this felt right. Their gravy had a taste I knew, but couldn't figure out...Green bell pepper. I have never had, or seen, green bell pepper in gravy, but it made the gravy so. damn. good. I told the woman who served me, who may have been the owner because of how well she connected with everyone there, that they need to get this out to the State Fair of Texas! This all tastes and feels like someone's personal recipe from back home.
Was a very good experience nice & clean & friendly employees

Ya know...this is not the place for a quiet, intimate 1st date atmosphere. There are places for that. This place is to take a good friend or several good friends to experience a friendly, cozy atmosphere with very good food and a community atmosphere. This eatery is an asset to Irving for its individual contribution to people who want to get out and just BE with others. You'll love it.

I came here a couple of months ago for lunch and it was amazing. It's a small cozy place to eat and Cissy was amazing. She walked me through any questions I had. The food came out fast and hot. It felt very homey
