The food was very good, but I went very often until one time I ordered some gorditas to take away and I didn't open them until I got home and several of them came unfilled, just the pure gordita alone. The second time it was the same, they didn't refill all the ones I ordered. They should make sure when they fill them, in that case it would be better to just give me plain tortillas.

We love coming here as a family every other Sunday morning. There gorditas are to die for we love getting the asada ones. The food is really good here for authentic Mexican food. The enchiladas are wonderful as well. It's hard to come across a good Mexican place in Irving since everything has became TexMex style. This is a whole in a wall but the food is so worth it.

Authentic Mexican food, with a variety of fresh waters! Lots of great dishes to choose from. The owners are sweet, and the waiters are very attentive. Been going here for years, never disappoints!

One of my favorite places to eat on weekends. They have an oven baked fish on the weekend that I often get, and are very happy to fry up mixed veggies that aren't listed on the menu explicitly. They are also happy to substitute the side rice for french fries, useful if you want to mix it up to have something with more of an american breakfast style.

Went again...love the restaurant and sometimes grab things from meat market too. They have removed booths and only have table and chairs. The booth seats were worn and needed repair or replaced. They also have nice new menus. I took a few pictures. Camera or Google flipped them but I hope they are helpful. In addition there is a small market with some distinctive items like large stirring spoons. Something you would need for 20 to 50 gallon cooking pots, basic household goods and cleaning supplies, bulk dried chilies, corn for mesa, corn husk, cummin seed and such. Also some basic fresh items too like chilies, garlic and other things needed to cook Mexican Dishes. They have a good meat market again geared toward Mexican dishes. Bring a cooler. There is a hot food to go service counter. I am sure to stays busy during the week when people want grab some good food to go.Went to Today and it is still very good as always and service is great. This is not 5 star dining. It is hole in the wall authentic Mexican food. I will drive past 20 places like it from Grand Prairie to eat here. The seat cushions in the booths are worn out. For the longest time google did not know where this place was located. Now the secret is out, and it is already hard to find parking here for lunch.

May look like a hole in the wall, but food is excellent - fresh and authentic Mexican
