I don't usually make a habit out of visiting an establishment right before it closes, but it was on my way to work so I wanted to stop in and give it a try. I arrived 15 minutes before they closed and all I wanted was a cold deli sub so I went in. It was probably the coldest greeting that I've ever gotten from any restaurant. I asked a couple of questions and got no help whatsoever. There wasn't a turkey and roast beef sandwich option so I asked her if there was any way to customize a sandwich like that. She told me the only option was a double decker sandwich that cost $27. I didn't want a double decker sandwich. Just a simple sub with turkey, roast beef, and cheese. There's a ham, turkey, and roast beef option, but no way to customize it to just have turkey and roast beef. Makes absolutely no sense to me. I posted a picture of the menu to show how easy it would have been to customize it. So I ended up ordering the turkey and pastrami. The entire time, she was absolutely miserable. Answered my questions abruptly and with attitude. The sub itself wasn't half bad. The bread is a little too thick, and a little skimpy on the meat, but not bad for a $10 sandwich. I probably would come back again since it's on my way to work. However, it would bother me to come back to a place that treats their customers like that. I'm sure she's not the owner and just works there part time, but whoever the owner is, really needs to have a talk with her. I won't be back anytime soon, especially if she's working.

I'm a little lost for words here as I try to write this review and reflect on how disgusting my lunch was yesterday. I ordered the chef's salad, and it was a hot mess. There were huge chunks of thick romaine lettuce that tasted very bitter. I believe I had the core and the bottom parts of the head of lettuce. On top of the lettuce were rolls of dry deli meat, two different American cheeses, a few cucumbers, a little bit of tomato and tons of olives. The whole salad was underwhelming and inedible, I threw my $12 lunch in the garbage and was left hungry.

If I could rate this a negative I would. I ordered the Desperado and ask for lettuce and cranberry on the side. The bread was terrible and thick and definitely not fresh as stated. It was hard and flaky. I received a huge container of old lettuce that I didn't use a fourth of and the cranberries a 2oz container where the lid was not closed so it spilled everyone. I paid $10 for a sandwich with mayo, old lettuce, and shaved turkey. I should have listened to my first thought and drove to jersey mikes. It's a no for me.

The sandwiches here are great! The bread is my favorite kind of chewy, and the flavor of the sandwiches has made me a customer for good. That said, the Greek salad was a bit disappointing. The flavors and I gradients were great - except the iceberg lettuce. Literally any other lettuce would be a better choice. For now, I'll stick with the sandwiches!

For a place that I thought that I could get a quick sandwich, it took over 30 minutes to make a sub sandwich! Then once I got it, the bread was brick hard and probably old. I would not recommend.

wow... it's hard to put into words the experience we had. the environment was immaculate, food was solid. tables could have been a little bit larger.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! "A Gourmet Deli Without the Cost" is a laughable and unbelievably inaccurate marketing slogan for this place. My husband and I paid $45 for 2 very average sandwiches, 2 bags of CHIPS, and 2 non-alcoholic beverages.. painful. There are brochure style menus at the front of the restaurant that list the prices of the sandwiches at HALF of what they have hiked the prices to - disgraceful business practice. As if the highway robbery wasn't enough, the service was TERRIBLE. The person behind the counter was extremely rude and acted annoyed that we were there and the ambience and restrooms were disgusting. DO BETTER! Do way way better!

I'd give it 100 stars if I could! The sandwiches are amazing! The customer service is wonderful! And their unique homemade sauce options are crazy good! The subs are fully loaded with the meats and cheeses! Highly recommend!!

I just started working in the area and wanted a sandwich. Got the FULL Ham as I didn't know the sizes but wholly hell! Huge sandwich soft bread and generous ingredients. I would say light on the mustard mayo and sauces in the future but ya gotta try it first before you doctor it up for next time. I will be back. Big value in my mind for the size of the full sandwich. Well done. Nice that the owner finds out who you are how you found them and is genuinely interested to make sure you live your sandwich.

Our group ordered 4 sandwiches and a wrap and picked them up on a Sunday as we were in town for a convention. The bread was so hard it was inedible. It's as if the bread was baked days before, had gone stale, and was then toasted. The person who had the wrap was happy with it.

Great service and love to see a fully Zabihah Halal sandwich shop in Irving! It feels amazing to eat such delicious food without having to worry about my dietary restrictions. I always go for the special of the day and I have yet to be disappointed!

Disgusting! All food was gross and a waste of money! If the food wasn't bad enough something in the hallway to the bathrooms smelled like a dead animal. The condition of the building alone should be a warning to never eat here ever!

The best sandwich I've ever had. Family run, and the friendliest service around. It can get pretty busy during peak hours, but it is worth the wait.

I would rate it lower if I could. There was only one person there. She took our orders and made our food. The turkey (house favorite) was really strong on the fish flavor. The greek salad claims to come with a homemade dressing, but it was just watered down balsamic. We had a party of five and none of us liked our food. The drinks are good because they have a specialty drink machine.
