I miss Tio Carlos! I came all the time for years. I remember they were near Beltline and my Mom and I order all the time however I am vegetarian and didn't realize the refried beans had pork lard. I wish that you guys could have an alternative and perhaps have no lard in the beans or have a vegetarian option. Maybe refried black beans. I would love to come back and try it if you would.

We were driving through town looking for a place to eat to then continue our journey. The food was delicious and our waiter was so kind and helped us move quickly as we wanted to get back on the road. He also introduced me to a new food I wasn't familiar with. Delicious! Only place to eat latin food! It's SO GOOD! And not just your run of the mill texmex. We got the mango tilapia, Ropa Viejas, and some pupusas. All were FANTASTIC! Everything was just absolutely amazing. Great margaritas too! Okay back to eating! Had to stop and type this cause OMG!

I was a little torn on writing this one. The service felt very personal and home-like. Ordered the Ribeye and steak quesadillas. I saw a picture online that was posted by one of the employees of the Ribeye the day before so that made me want to go. Unfortunately, the $30 Ribeye looked nothing like the picture and what I received. I asked the server about it, and showed her the picture. She didn’t really have an answer. Some of the sides we ordered were missing and had to ask a couple times for it. The steak quesadillas were pretty good.
