Traveling on Thanksgiving is never easy. You never know what is going to be open for how long and what they’re going to be serving. But the PJ fresh market place at pilot travel center in Stockton Texas is a perfect stop. I wish the gentleman behind the buffet counter had a name tag so I could thank him personally. But all the workers there were exceedingly helpful and very kind, which can be kind of hard to do working on a holiday. God bless them all! Happy Thanksgiving.

Great pizza and fries! Not ideal for dining- in as it's in a gas station. But a wide variety of fruit, veggies, sandwiches, grill items, etc.

It's been three years since my last review and since I've stopped at this location. Great place for a snack, a meal, a break, or fuel. Gas was $4.09 per gallon thanks to Brandon !!! As we travel West, the price of fuel will go higher and higher !!! Use the app and your rewards number to save 3¢ per gallon. It isn't much, but every little bit helps !!!

Good place to stop at for a travel spot. Stopped here on my way back from South Llano State Park. Good place to stop to get gas and something to drink. The customer service was good and the prices are reasonable.

I ordered a meatloaf plate with Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes at the buffet. The meatloaf sauce was so good that I ordered a small cup to smother the rest of my meatloaf with. I didn't ask what ingredients they used to make it but I'm a get em.

I love coming here there always so nice and friendly, i was having a bad day and as always I'm still nice and say hi to everyone, (i was raised right lol) i got my food and some water and i told guy hi and hope he was doing well and he smiled and told me i was the first person to ask how his day was going, he said thank you and told me my food was on him, and that made my day so much better, so glad there are amazing people in this world. Thank you man

pkng spots aren't level but you can park along the curb. i arrived at 930pm and plenty of spots available. showers are big and clean. diesel was 2.25. well lit pkng lot and decently clean too.

I recommend the store pilot. I do not recommend the subway in pilot. The lady working I believe her name is JANA was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked her nicely to toast my sandwich on the “cheese pizza setting” and she rudely snapped off “we don’t have that setting” when clearly there was a button for that setting. I nicely said they had done it for us a while ago when we came into the store. She then replied “ I don’t know who told you we had that setting but we don’t” and again was extremely rude. I told her if she was going to continue to act that way she could keep my sandwich,”and I walked out of the store.So when my boyfriend went to pay for food, she said “we can’t let you pay for her sandwich, since she said keep my order”. Mind you, she had already had it made. I would not recommend this subway, nor do I plan on eating here again.
Filled up our motorcoach a little while ago. I was confused by the instructions at the pump for DEF. So I had to make a trip inside. The cashier did not know how to handle it. But the manager was standing right there and knew perfectly how to assist me. Other than quite a bit of oil next to the diesel pumps, which you find at every truckstop, the facility was neat and clean. Pilot could do a better job on their pump instructions (e.g. am I reefer or tractor? Not a RV choice). if they want to attract occasional RVers like me, more plain English-not trucker slang would help us. But I am sure for regular customers they figure out the pump instructions and do just fine.
