We had dinner this night at this restaurant and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the food was passable, the service was a significant letdown. The main issue arose with the waitress, whose behavior was both intrusive and pushy. Throughout the meal, she seemed overly eager to rush us through our dining experience. From prematurely presenting the bill before we had the chance to order additional drinks and sushi to hovering over us as we calculated the tip, her presence felt suffocating. What truly irked me was her insistence on waiting for us to fill out the tip section immediately after handing us the bill. It felt invasive and left a sour taste in my mouth.I believe it's imperative for the restaurant owner to address this issue and educate their waitstaff on the importance of respecting customers' space and timing. No diner should feel pressured or rushed when enjoying a meal out.

There was a strip of plastic in my food that I only realized was there after putting it in my mouth. One of the most disgusting experiences I’ve had dining at at a restaurant. The owner was also very unapologetic about it. Beware and check what you’re putting in your mouth when eating from this place.

Absolutely DELICIOUS sushi! The Tiger Eye Roll and the garlic broccoli dish make this pregnant mama very happy. First visit here with my husband on a weekday night, restaurant was very quiet and the location is super convenient to home. Sally was our waitress and she was a doll and made the entire experience a pleasant one.Definitely get some strawberry mochi for dessert, you’ll leave full and pleased. Can’t wait to go back!

Akashi is my goto when I'm craving Sushi for lunch. I love their lunch special where I can get two rolls, miso soup, and salad for less than $15. It always tastes great. Fast and friendly service as well.

This place has changed A LOT, and not for the better.Firstly, let's talk about the rude customer service. The server was extremely rude and unprofessional, from tossing the chopsticks from one end of the table to the other, to improperly serving food (she literally dipped half of her thumb in my soup!) which she served lukewarm. We ordered drinks, and for the second round, she delivered the wrong ones and didn't bother to fix it after we mentioned it to her. Then, she had the audacity to complain about how much we tipped. The significance of tipping lies in recognizing and rewarding good service. It's a voluntary gesture of appreciation for excellent service!I will definitely stay away from this place!

This had been by far the worst experience ever in a restaurant… server was very rude. When we were trying to order she was not even courteous enough to listen… when she was serving the drinks and plates she threw them in the table. Soups spilled all over the place and she didn’t even offered to clean. We asked for a knife and she came with Two knifes and threw them in the table. One of my friend didn’t even want to taste the soup because the server put her nail inside of the soup while throwing it in the table. I told the server that I didn’t wanted soup and she started yelling at me saying that it was included in the order of the plate and she said gave it to one of your friends! At the end; we were not even done eating and she started telling us that we needed to pay because they were going to close earlier. With all of this we gave her just a few dollars for tips just so realized the kind of service that she was providing and she got mad for that and started yelling at us again! I can see why the restaurant was almost empty! I wish I read the other reviews here so I could of avoid this terrible experience! DO NOT GO THERE!!!

We were in the mood for some Chinese / Japanese food and decided to try out Akashi. They definitely have lots of food options for both Chinese and Japanese. We ordered the Veggie lowmein, general Tao chicken with fried rice, spicy tuna and salmon rolls. Food was good. Service was excellent. We had a late lunch so the place was relatively empty (on a Saturday).

Placed a take out order and explicitly stated that spicy mayo was not to be used. Upon opening the packages at home, I noticed they ignored the request.I immediately called them to talk about it and was told that the special request notes are not read because they are the bottom of the order.Well, why do they have the “Special Requests” field then?!Very disappointing service throughout the experience. From good preparation all the way to customer service.
