I love Whole Foods in Cinco Ranch. It was not crowded in the afternoon. I found the selection to be excellent. The quality of the organic foods is exactly what I was looking for. Eating clean is the way to go. The checkout was efficient and the employee was friendly.

I am only reviewing the meat here. I bought a 20 oz ribeye for $17.09 and it was delicious. Very tender and cooks perfect. It's hard to review this because all Whole Foods did was hand me the steak and I did the work, but I have cooked steaks perfectly before and they have tasted very tough or just bad. If you are looking for a good steak to buy, go here.

Stopped by yesterday for a quick lunch. Was going to get 1 slice of pizza, but the person behind the counter did a great job of up selling by letting me know that there's a little savings if I got 2 slices instead of 1, $7.00 for 2. I looked at the receipt today and found those 2 slices cost $14.00. I called the store, explained the situation and was asked if they could put me on hold to get a manager. After quite a few minutes someone picked up the phone and seemed surprised I was waiting for the store manager since they were in a meeting. So I explained once more and assistant manager (not sure exactly) explained that I would have to return to the store for the $7.00 credit. I live 70 west of Katy. 140 mile round trip to resolve the problem? Apparently unless I could find a closer location. Really sad especially since I've been a longtime customer in three other markets of WF, Boston, DC, and Pittsburgh.I believe amazon and Whole Foods have some technology to resolve this without wasting gas and time. Of course, maybe the policy is designed so that folks say it's not worth it. I'm only in that area once a month. But I don't think I'll be visiting this location again.

I always enjoy going to this store! Everyone is so friendly & they have such a variety of different things. I love the Orchid & Soap that I got today.

The produce department was tiny, not well stocked and little variety. Actually it was pitiful. Instead of selling whole, real food they are selling lots of processed and packaged foods and leaving a small space for what little produce they sell. It is shockingly bad. I'll never go back. I guess it's about the bottom line and not the customers health. We were in the neighborhood so I tried again. Again so much wilted produce. All the packaged arugula was wilted. The cheese department is so tiny, and my blueberries were rather mushy once I got them home. I think because this store is in the burbs they really don't care to stock it like the Kirby store. But why do they think the suburban consumer deserves wilted and moldy produce. I saw lots of mold!

Pretty standard non-flagship Whole Foods store where they have their best selling products but not things you would find at their bigger stores (Like in Uptown, 5th street in Austin, etc.) They have a little bar in there too which might be nice if you're on this side of town and don't want to deal with going to a bar. I wasn't terribly impressed by their a la carte meal selection though. There were like 2 types of protein and the rest just fillers not worth the price.

Sad...wanted to do birthday dinner here, but found poor veggie selection at hot food bar. I was about 5 p.m., so we assumed dinner foods were out and fresh. Sigh. Otherwise selections were okay, but then I found out I might have extra savings above Prime if I had the qr code... it took a while being sidetracked by cashier.. she should have told me I just needed the app.

Katy Whole Foods seems to be aiming for these business goals: - let's make sure to be as disorganized as possible - remember to treat customers like we're doing them a favor - try to be as unhelpful and incompetent as possible ~40 mins for a hamburger and fries with no inspiration to provide updates and as soon as they saw us coming to check, they would leave Deli food quality they should be ASHAMED to serve. Fried chicken should have said chicken jerky. Fish was left out so long--even Lundy's would have pulled it. Can another health food market PLEASE COME and help shut this store down?!?!?!

Okay so I was having my dessert craving and had to try this Chantilly Berry Cake from Whole Foods. I had it before at a party but wanted to make sure the taste, texture and flavor was consistent. Happy to say that this cake is super moist and the light taste and fresh berries makes it a delight to eat either at a party or after dinner with coffee. I bought the baby size cake and it was perfect size to share with 4 people. I couldn't stop eating it. If you've haven't tried this dessert cake before then you won't be disappointed to feed that Sweet Tooth craving every now and then. It's a unique flavor; vanilla cake with almond cream cheese frosting with fresh berries inside and out. Enjoy!!

Not the cleanest place around. Bought some prepackaged corn on the cob that had mold on it when I opened it. Took it back and when I tried to exchange it they all had mold.

We used to love the cooked breakfasts here - especially the Huevos Rancheros - however since the takeover by Amazon we have noticed that both the variety and quality of food cooked in the Wholefoods kitchen has gone down. For example, the Huevos Rancheros used to consist of a crispy tortilla, spread with refried beans, topped with two medium hard fried eggs, and a piquant salsa with cilantro. Today we were served a soggy taco, a black bean spread topped with Wholefoods generic over cooked scrambled egg with onions and tomatoes thrown in for good measure. No cilantro, no jalapeños that we could discern. Boring and not worth the money. The food at the wine/beer bar has also gone down. Wholefoods have recently changed their bar menu - less cooked food and more pre-prepared snacks. Unfortunately their Fish and Chips that attracted a lot of customer support and about which I raved on this site a while back has gone to be replaced with jars of cheese spread with crackers and something masquerading as tapenade. Come on Wholefoods - don’t let the good things you were known for disappear under a cloud of Amazon mediocrity.

The store is in a good location and has great products, however, the way customers are treated is very disappointing. I walked up to the store at 0753 since the google search brought up hours that said they open at 0700. When I got to the door, a produce employee looked at me and said "ma'am, we don't open until 0800." I asked why it say 0700 on the internet, and he just replied that I need to check that again! Then he shut and locked the front doors, walking away! Keep in mind that it was only 5 minutes until opening time. I had to stand outside until 0800 waiting. I know the store opened at 8, but come on! Shutting the door in my face for 5 minutes is just plain rude. Plus it says to me that I am not welcome in the store until they absolutely HAVE to let me in. We pay a lot for the food here, the customer service should also be above average, when at this store it is well below average. Walmart has better service than this store! I will not be back.
