Service was very good. Friendly and helpful servers. That about ends the good stuff about this place. The food was mediocre at best. Breakfast came out cold for both of us. Wifes vegetable omelet with goat cheese has maybe 1 ounce of cheese, 1 leaf of spinach and some canned mushrooms mixed in with the egg. Her grits were cold and tasteless. Best thing on her plate was the store bought English muffin.I had a Mexican style breakfast (they said that on the menu) and it was bland. Side of potatoes was cold and the tortillas were not even heated out of the package.Fourty dollars for two breakfasts and two teas. With gratuity we were right at $50. Ahh, won't let that happen again.

We waited over 40 minutes to be seated. Several others who arrived after us were seated before us. We went from a group of six to three as others did not want to wait around. After waiting 40 minutes and watching large groups, couples, etc., all seated before us, I finally decided to leave. We were on the waitlist, and I asked others who arrived after us how long they had waited; despite knowing it wasn't long, they stated they had just arrived. I wanted to try this place out, but I will never return.

First visit was fantastic. Chadalyn answered several questions about menu items; she knew her stuff! And let me tell ya, you need to try the biscuit beignets - wow, so wonderful. I’m from Louisiana and have had beignets dozens of times at cafe du monde, which made me wonder, like whaaa? Biscuits?! But they are a must.Great service great food - will be back, often.

This was a great place for breakfast! The vanilla cold brew was good but it needed just a little more cream. The salmon Benedict was really good but I just wish my bagel had been more toasted (I prefer them really toasted, which I asked for, and it was just warmed). The grits were a bit of a let down because I didn’t think they had much flavor. Overall, it was a solid place for breakfast and I will definitely be back.

For my first time coming here I was highly satisfied with everything! Amazing food! Amazing service! Amazing atmosphere! Mimosa were really good and sneaky lol! The food had really good spices and taste! Will highly recommend to everyone! Will come again and try new dishes and drinks! I’m glad y'all opened here in Katy!
