Overall this place has great food BUTThe crawfish, while well-seasoned, is a bit of an issue for someone who eats them regularly.If you order 2 lb, or if you order 5 lb, it's the exact same size portion that you will get.For someone who regularly cooks 30 lb bags of crawfish, it's a little insulting to be told that 2 lb is 5 lb.Also, found some obviously dead and decayed ones in my last order.Overall a great establishment, hopefully they will get their portions corrected. I keep telling myself I'm not going to order crawfish there anymore, although they do them better than most places around here.Great menu over all.

So first time in Katy and this place is amazing. The food was well prepared and seasoned to perfection. Our server Heather made the experience well worth it with her kindness, attentiveness and awesome recommendations and good working knowledge of the menu. I've never had better service by far. Worth a great tip. Everything was delicious and the different flavors melded together beautifully. Will always recommend this place to anyone coming through.

First time visiting this popular locationWe had four people in our party, at the time we visited, there was a bit of a wait super easy. Received a text message when it was time to be seatedOur server was pleasant she introduced herself and took our drink and appetizer order quickly, although after that, she was not as attentive as we wishedWe chose the Boudin balls and fried pickles. They were both pretty good beers took a while to come out, but that’s understandable with the amount of people visiting at that time.For our entries, I chose the crawfish étouffée it tasted really good however, I was disappointed with the small portion size for the large bowl. My wife had the catfish poor boy which was amazing, the others in our group shared crawfish and shrimp, which was also really goodOverall, it was a good experience and will definitely go back
Food was good, our server was a real sweet lady and we really enjoyed our lunch. We will definitely be back! We were given a complimentary queso due to the wait and it was the best I’ve had. Not sure what it was but it was delicious!!

Stopped here with my son. Man, this boil is second to none. Last time we got it to go with my other son. I just did a review of a place in Mississippi, my wife and I went to. I thought it was the best...now I may have to edit that.You have to get it their style. It leaves the seasoning from the boil in the tray and drenched the crab, crawdads and corn. It is so freaking good, make you slap anyone but you Momma.I had 2 drinks and a beer. We took home 2 desserts. The key lime pie cheesecake was delicious. The bread pudding was a little thick and I thought needed more sugar and cinnamon. However, I am use to Mommas, who made her's more like drenched monkey bread with raisins.I live in OK, my son lives in Katy. My other son was jealous, so I will have to bring him with me next time, as we all love this place.

Review is strictly meal related, ordered on DoorDash.When I SAY the crawfish were amaaaazzing. So juicy and flavorful. I got the Tex-Orleans wet version, and the dipping sauce took me back home. Meal was packaged well, and I’m just gonna circle back and say that the crawfish was so good that I reordered before I dipped my last tail ?

Fernanda is a horrible bartender OMG!! she let them take my drink after she told me she would watch it while I use the bathroom and I really hated to Leave my drink.she fixed 1 drink and went to the back with it I asked her why did she do that she tells me her boss was asking her what she wanted to eat wow! she didn’t see if I needed anything another bartender had to come see about me…she was busy flirting with the manager laughing and talking I’m never goin back to this location

3/19/2024: Good service and good crawfish. Their March-Gras deal isn't as great anymore. $40 for 5lbs, but any additional crawfish is 10.99 lb. Previously it was only $7 or $8 per additional lb. The fries are also way overpriced. $5 for a small amount of fries. They used to have a large basket of fries that was a better value, but I guess that was affected by shrinkflation.2023: Went a few time during their Marchi-gras special in March.Went for the Crawfish, and it was mostly really good. The tex-orleans style is the way to go for that amazing flavor. One batch we received was a bit rubbery, but still really good. The reason for the 3 stars (would give 3.5 if possible) is the service seems really hit-or-miss. We've gone 3 times, sitting on the patio twice, and eating inside once. 2 out of 3 experiences our service wasn't great (the one good day of service was on the patio), having to wait a good while for refills on our drinks and other general service requests. Our last experience we were on sitting on the patio and I had to go inside to ask for refills at one point. It wasn't very busy inside either, probably because this was during a weekday at 2PM. I could tell our waitress wasn't happy I had to go inside to ask for refills, but it had been about 15 minutes without seeing her so what can you do. If possible I'd recommend the BB's north of Houston.
