I enjoyed my lunch at Bon Galbi. I ordered the bulgogi dish, dolsot bibimbap, and the Korean pear juice. You don't get a large amount of Banchan, but you get good ones like fish cakes, kimchi, japche, and broccoli.The dolsot was delicious, and the sizzling of the pot was pleasing to the ears. The pear juice was slightly sweet and oh-so-good! The atmosphere was nice and open, and it had a small local restaurant feel to it with K-pop music in the background.Overall, the food was delicious. If I'm back in the Katy area, I'll be sure to stop by.

First. A restaurant in a busy and popular area only has two high chairs. So when we went in, the two were being used so my 18 mo old had to sit on the booth. Then seeing as the name of the restaurant is Bon Galbi, one automatically assumes that Galbi is sold there, right? No. They in fact do not sell Galbi. The food was less than mediocre and overpriced. I can tell you, just go to the Hmart food court. Way better food. For a better price. Same type of service.

My future wife and I had one of the best gastronomical experiences we’ve had in a while. Not only was the food cooked to perfection, but the server went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable beyond belief.I highly encourage people to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Everything was amazing! The staff was quick, all of the food was delicious & the perfect temperature, & it was a cozy feeling inside.
This restaurant consistently delivers exceptional service with a warm welcome and attentive staff. Having visited twice and tried various dishes, we've yet to be disappointed. The standout feature is undoubtedly the incredible flavor in their soups, particularly the ox soup, which I absolutely love. Highly recommend for a delightful dining experience.

I had a great lunch with Hubs. It was our first time dining here so we tried a new dish along with familiar ones we would have order from a favorite place further away.Their tofu soup was good. The server said the soup was premade so you can’t order it non-spicy. Since I don’t eat spicy, but it’s a Korean restaurant and I love kimchi, I tried the soup with no additional spicy and it was tolerable and tasty. We also ordered the kimchi pancake. Delicious and crispy too! Even the dipping sauce that goes with it has its own topping! The new dish we ordered was the Dolsot Bibimbob. OMG! I hit a jackpot in this choice! It was so good. It was served in a hot stone wide shallow bowl. The rice was centered with all different veggie toppings around it besides a ground beef looking one. It also came with a fried egg and thinly sliced roasted seaweed. I loved the whole thing, almost didn’t want to share! We got four side dishes and all four were great! The sides dishes were a plate of fish cake, japchae (I know right!), kimchi (obviously a must), and seasoned broccoli with sesame. To me simple is good, because simple brings out the flavor!

Can you tell me what food is this photo? Salad? Or Bibimbap? Who can believe that I am order a Bibimbap, it's coming without rice ? and it's cold lettuce! I'm driving there at cold raining night 20 minutes. Paying the price for Bibimbap but got cold salad ?! So disappointed ?What do you think the dish in my photo is? Green salad or bibimbap? The answer is: bibimbap ? There is no rice in bibimbap ? You are right or wrong! On a cold rainy night, I drove more than 20 minutes to go here to have a warm meal. When I got home, I spent the money on bibimbap and brought back a cold salad! Super dumbfounded! When I called back, they still didn't believe me and asked me to bring the food back to the store before I could refund it! Oh my god‼ ️On a cold rainy night, in order to refund less than 20 yuan, do I have to drive back and forth for 40 minutes? I'm mad. Forget it, I admit my defeat and will never go there again.

Their kimchi was so so good! One of the best kimchi I've had in a restaurant!! I think the restaurant is new so the menu is quite small. The service was good and food was great. I just wish they had japchae which I always order when I go to Korean restaurants.
