Today I arrive at this place with my mother and son and I am very willing to eat to my heart's content. When I sit down to eat everything tasted spoiled, the food felt acidic, I got up and told one of those who were there that I would like I left because the food was not good, and they treated me very badly, they made me pay for two lemonades that I didn't even drink, please don't visit here, the food is really not in good condition, this place should be closed, you will never see me back ?

Food was so bad my kid cried having to eat it.. Never experienced that before. I felt so bad! The staff heard him say he hated it and it was disgusting and dry but I was too embarrassed to say anything and they charged me I regretted it right away.. first time I ever didn’t tip in my life bc it wasn’t worth what we paid.. my stomach felt nasty and I threw up right away after leaving. Super annoyed that I chose such a disgusting place.
There is a lot of parts to this review so please read all of them before visiting this particular E-Star buffet location.1. It's located off of Katy Freeway and it's near a lot of other convenient food places that you can go to, so you can have more options on where ELSE to go besides this place.2. The food looked either very oily, unappetizing, soggy, gross, or looked like it's been sitting out for DAYS. Not hours, DAYS. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt since I have visited other E-Star locations near me and they have all been excellent. So I thought this would be the same experience at every E-Star. Turns out this one was a total miss3. The atmosphere was typical for any chinese buffets. I do find this particular location very dark and they place the food all the way towards the back whereas the other locations they have them on display right when you walk in so you have a general idea on what you're getting into. Maybe they're trying to hide the fact that the food preparations and presentation that they're showing to the customers is of bad quality so they try to put it all the way in the back. But who knows? I'm just a customer4. The service left much to be desired. There wasn't a lot of people when I went, and my waiter seemed not busy at all since he was only taking care of two other tables but he was taking 15 minutes to come back with our utensils.5.Everything tasted bad. The salmon was extremely thinly sliced as if they're watching their own portions on a diet, not to mention it smelled like rotten fish and tasted like it too. I was hesitating to eat a couple of the dishes due to the fear of getting food poisoning by the looks of some dishes.6. Our host sat us on a purposely dirty booth and sticky table. When I got up I found crumbs stuck to my pants and the floor was full of food debris. And this was on a NON-BUSY lunch weekday.To conclude my review, this is one of the worst E-Star establishment I've ever gone to, and I would NEVER EVER come back here. Unless a major change happens, like a tornado..

I haven't been to this place in years so we all couldn't decide what to have for dinner. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. Things were not hot and I usually only eat sweet and sour chicken. It was crumbs and they didn't fill it the entire time I was there. they only had two kinds of rice and egg rolls were cold as well. Banana pudding was all gone . It was a sad day for me at E- Star. I really felt like I irritated them when I only ordered water for our drinks and for what we had it was over priced.
This is the place to be for Chinese buffet.
