“Just go! Take my word for it!The turkey wings are a major, major, major, MAJOR GO!The greens were a little salty but still top 2 in my life! Just the right spice .The cabbage was good but not great. Maybe add some bell peppers & onions. The mac and red beans were on point, too!Real deal soul food here. I'll be back!Edit: they worked on them greens and they are now even better!“

“This place is a gem in its category! The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff is friendly. Irma, the manager, is kind and receptive. I have personally tried their menudo, carne con papas, milanesa de pollo, and caldo de res, each one delicious! I highly recommend this place.“

“If you have an Appetizer when you go for a walk or shopping, I recommend a 100% natural snack on Mango Island. It is also a fresh, pleasant, tidy, clean business with excellent service. The combinations of flavors with the green mango are a delight. I love the one with condensed milk and mango alinao. The combinations of natural fruit smoothies have no competition. Mango Island is the best. Test it!“

“Overall this place was okay. Although they had different offerings of meat choices than other taco joints, the quality and taste is the usual mini street tacos you get st every block in Houston. The service was great though. I ordered a costeña with longaniza. Tried tripas, cochinito pibil, campechano, and bistec tacos. The costeña (charred queso flameado over sausage on a flour tortilla) was good. The tripas were good but had like gains of sand or something. It was odd. The cochinito pibil had good texture, it was spicy, and it overall was alright. The campehcano (bistec and longaniza) were not bad--a little dry. And the bistec was the usual you get at any other mini tacon joint.“
