The waitress was very rude. She brought us wrong dishes and if we asked about, she was showing her bad attitude and trying to say thats what we ordered. The food was okay, nothing great. I will not recommend this place.

A must go to spot in Katy Asian town! We were looking for a place that has noodle soup since our favorite spot phanh ky was closed and we got lucky because they had exactly what we were craving for. My hubby and I got the shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup and the shrimp noodle soup. Omg did it hit the spot! The soup was so flavorful that it didn't need any condiments or sauces. I had a little chili oil on the side but really didn't need it. The kids also had their own soups and the orange chicken. All very tasty. I believe Jia Kitchen and Tan Tan Wok are now one restaurant so I'm giving 5 stars to both. Service is excellent, ambience is amazing and the food is top tier.

Wow. Just wow. There is some real talent in the kitchen here. We had two different soups, the duck and pork and shrimp wonton. They were divine. Trust me. I'm very critical of suburban restaurants and this one checks all the boxes. Great, complex broth with FRESH veggies and perfectly cooked proteins. You want great Vietnamese food? Run, don't walk here.

Food was above par, service was nice and at a decent speed, ambiance was clean and modern. Our family favorite now!!!

Jia Kitchen and neighboring Tan Tan Wok are really all one and the same restaurant. Slightly different ambience, but they share the same menu and staff.I've been here more than a few times, and almost always start with a Thai Tea. Which is served in a frothy, icy carafe. My usual entrée is the Salt and Pepper Squid, and I recently tried the Crispy Beef with Tangerine. It was well worth the wait for that dish. The lightly breaded beef was very tender and served in a sweet tangerine-ginger sauce with just a hint of heat.If you choose fried rice, in lieu of, the usual steam rice, you'll be pleased with an actual handmade fried rice, and not something out of the Sysco Asian food catalog. Every time I've dined here I've always seen tables full of families, sharing dishes. It seems to be a favorite spot for many locals.

Fantastic food and the service was quick and attentive. We ordered Roti Curry, Rice Cake, and both had wonton and were very happy with it all.

Service was fast and friendly. No wait for a table Saturday lunch. I had the Banh bot chien -- the bot was more mush than chewy but overall still tasty. The Banh uot was good, the fish sauce needed a bit more fish sauce. It needed a bigger kick. Overall though food was good.

This place is awesome. I've been here probably 10x and I've gotten a congee (rice soup on the menu) every time I've been here.My wife has gotten various other meals and they've all been excellent, but I cannot speak highly enough of the congee. I started cooking it at home because of how much I love theirs.Stop by and try it if you've ever wanted to try rice porridge. It's surprisingly not super easy to find in this part of Houston except in this shopping center.

Teeming with freshly cooked aroma of Asian dishes when we walk in. Mmmmm! It’s always the same. Love the hustle and bustle. Always the same prompt service. It’s clean and the quality and standard of the dishes remain unchanged. There’s a bit of every cuisine from the SOUTH EAST ASIAN/ASIAN countries. This place is a hot spot for local Katy families in Asian town.Being a regular helped with the added service of getting the ordered dish corrected with a smile and prompt service.Sizzling Jade tofu with seafood is a lovely dish with steaming hot white rice. The bubbling sauce on the hot griddle was sopping delish with the rice. Singapore fried noodles big hit with the fam. Curry chicken noodle soup.. still a winner.Stir fry flat rice noodles with chicken.. The Chinese broccoli green color still retained, cooked but still crispy. Ratio of vege, chicken and flat rice noodles perfect. ?? family enjoys our visits Woo l to Jia Kitchen slash Tan Tan Wok. ?☺️

Stopped by recently on a weekday around 4pm for a super late lunch, so the restaurant was pretty much empty at the time. We were quickly seated and got our foods ordered pretty quickly as well, and they did not take long to come out either. It seemed like the prices went up by a lot from the last time we were here, but that was fine.We ordered the roti and curry starter, crispy seafood flat rice noodles, Kinh Do spare ribs, and bbq pork and chinese sausage fried rice. My favorite was probably the the roti and curry starter which was super good. The curry was flavorful, and the roti was fluffy and light. The Kinh Do spare ribs were not bad. The fried rice tasted like typical Chinese restaurant fried rice and a bit bland, so it was not that special. The most disappointing part of the meal was probably the seafood flat rice noodle. The flavors were good, but the seafoods were pretty nonexistent (only a few pieces). It was close to $20, so we had expected it to have at least a bit more seafoods in it.Overall, it was only okay, especially for the price. I don't mind paying a lot for good foods, but I don't think it was very worth it here. There are lots of restaurants here in Katy Asian Town, so there are better options to choose from. I wouldn't go out of our way to come back here unless I really couldn't decide on another place in this area.

Horrible customer service!!! I went with my family and I had to pay the TIP that they want to, I was ready to give them my tip in cash but different, but they told me that I had to pay that they say because we were 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) please people let me know if the tip that the restaurant says in Houston is an obligation… I’m really upset, my baby nieces off course doesn’t have to pay tips yet…… this is really stupid! Never again in this place!!! TIPS ARE NOT LEGALLY REQUIRED in USA!!! Off course I always give my tips but never before in this rude way!

Food was not good at all. I took one bite of my food and asked if I could switch it out for something else and they refused. Customer service was even worse. Staff insisted that we tipped on bad service, then publicly yelled “they didn’t tip.” Won’t be returning here again, spend your money elsewhere.
