45 bucks for a cake $45 for donuts $56 for stuff that is just crazy crazy crazy crazy prices I don't think so no way am I gonna pay all that money for that no thanks no thanks no thanks I can go to sprouts and get keto food I go to Trader Joe's and get keto food for half that price I will make my own stuff before I pay that

I am vegan and this place couldn't accommodate my diet however the lady took the time to explain why she can't make vegan options...that was very kind...I will tell my friends to go here just for good service. We value good service.

I ordered red velvet cake for my daughter's graduation party, the cake came in a aluminum foil tray, which I cannot remove from it. The cake was so dry and powdery, no one liked it. It's a great disappointment.

We noticed the Friday only open hours….walked up to the door after ten and it was locked, people inside but no response from anyone, there was a sign on the door saying open fridays for pickup on online orders. Orders must be placed by Wednesday’s on their website. Sad way to run a business, they won’t get any of my business.

I'm rating them a 3 the donuts and cake are awesome if you are on Keto, but I don't live close, about 45 minutes away, so it was very aggravating when I drove out there and they had a sign on the door that they are only doing pick up orders on Fridays and they have to be put in on Wednesday. I called and no answer. I really liked when it was an actual bakery that was open during the hours it says it's supposed to be open and you could pick from a variety of options but what I'm seeing on the website now, you have to put in a huge order on one specific type of item, like a dozen single flavored donuts. What if you order them and you don't like that flavor and now your stuck with 11 more. At 35 bucks a dozen, it just isn't a logical gamble to me. I would definitely put in an order for a variety pack of things for 35$ but not a dozen of one single flavor without trying it first. I hope they change up the menu with some type of variety pack. And I would looove if they actually opened the physical store again. Very disappointing, but they were really good when they were open, hence the 3 stars

I ordered from Kakes online for delivery. I do live in Houston, but on the other side of town so I decided to just pay and have it delivered. The owner (Stefani) called me and asked if she could just deliver it herself because everything was baked fresh and she didn't want to mail it. She delivered it to my workplace and she was super friendly. I ordered her best seller blueberry bagels and (2) of the lemon donuts. I tried the lemon donut and I give it 5 stars!!! My husband could not eat his and gave it to me. I have been doing keto/low carb for about 3 years, so maybe my taste buds may have changed from eating the SAD (Standard American Diet) with all of the processed foods and sugar, but I absolutely enjoyed my donut. On the other hand, I did NOT like the "Best Seller" Blueberry Bagel! I wanted to and would come back later on in the day and try it (hoping it would taste better) and even put some Lankto (keto approved) syrup on it and BLAH. But the taste did not agree with my taste buds. Your taste buds will change after you rid the sugar and will adapt. I have told my peeps about some great tasting keto store bought bars and they thought it was nasty..., so with that being said..., I am a real fat adapting ketoer. Stefani suggested that I try the blueberry muffins and OH MY GOODNESS......SHE SOOOOOOOO MADE UP FOR IT!!!!! My husband even liked it!!! I tried the bagel Christmas morning and LOVED IT!!! I will certainly buy these from her and the lemon glaze donuts for sure!!! Thank you so much Stefani

I went in and ordered each flavor of their donuts, vanilla cupcake and carrot cupcake, tres leches and sheet cake. This is my summary on each:Donuts: You know the term “it’s too good to be true” This was exactly my thoughts on my first bite. So I proceeded to take a bite from every other donut trying to find “the catch” here. Verdi t: literally the best thing I’ve ever had, the icing melts in your mouth like butter and I’ll let you figure out the rest.Cupcakes: same as above - literally amazing.Tres Leches: currently finishing the entire piece without coming up for air.Sheet cake: fell slightly apart and made it hard to eat but the flavors were amazing. Expect MOIST to come straight to mind on first bite.

I did not get friendliness AT ALL for some unknown reason. Also, they did not have samples. If you are going to charge these prices please have samples available for first time folks.

I did not get friendliness AT ALL for some reason. The cashier looked disturbed to see me. Nevertheless, I asked for a sample as a first time visitor and they didn't have one. I think it's absurd to charge these prices and not have samples available. It just was not a pleasant experience for me.
