This place was by far, hands down, the best Chinese restaurant in the West Houston area. But for the past two months, the restaurant has been closed down and the number non-working. I wonder what happened!!?!

Pros: First off the food here is great. Definitely reminds me of one of my favorite places to go to back home. Cons: I don't know if they are even open anymore. 1. I call to see if they are open and it goes straight to voicemail. 2. I tried to order from their website but errors out. 3. I tried ordering through door dash, order is accepted but when the driver shows up to pick up the order finds out they are closed. 4. Drove by last week... closed. Come on Katy Rice King, get your restaurant in order. You have a good thing going but customer service like this will make you lose customers. Right now I am trying to give you money but cant even get a response. Should I even bother anymore?

This review is not based on the food because when we have eaten in the restaurant is has been fine. My issue is is the last 3 times I have tried to call no one picks up the phone including today. I also tried to order online and there is a glitch. The first times tried and today when this happened we drove all the way there which is 20 min to and from find out the restaurant was closed. This is just bad service and a waste of time. You all should update your voicemail or answer and let people know what's going on. This is horrible customer service.

Their food is great! Good portions, great flavor, and their customer service is amazing. During my first visit, they forgot to put one of my entrees in the bag and personally delivered it to my house once I called them about it. I love that they deliver DoorDash also!!

I ordered food from Katy Rice King for the first time this weekend. I ordered delivery with doordash. I didn't know they could deliver to my home, I live 6 miles away. The food is so fresh and very delicious. The family meal is fulfilling and a bit pricey but worth it. It was so so yummy and I recommend it

I have been back 2x in the last month and I am pleasantly surprised. The chicken egg rolls I could eat all day and my mom loves the lo mein and shrimp. I will be back.

I was planning to go eat noodles at Phanh Ky or Yummy, but decided to try this place. The menu is so standard American Chinese restaurant, I almost walked out. At the end, I ordered a General Tzo chicken, my to go comparison dish. Surprisingly, it was not bad at all. It was crispy just the way I like it. I am a bit indifferent with the sauce. A bit on the sour side. But it is promising. I might come back and give them a try again. I will try their Singaporean Noodle or the Walnut Shrimp next time.

Delightfully surprised to find this place tucked in Katy Asia Town. Because it isn't super authentic Chinese cuisine but Americanized. It doesn't make it bad because the food is prepared so damn well--and very deliciously at that. Our 12 year old isn't adventurous and wanted her usual fried rice. This place has pineapple fried rice on the menu so that was a plus for her. They made orange beef (off menu item) and it was tasty. Fried and steamed dumplings--savory and good. I love the drunken noodles (yes there are some Thai dishes on the menu). Ordered them spicy and it was flavorful. The broth for the wonton soup was well seasoned. Crispy egg rolls with a nice filling-another yum. Overall pretty nice and the staff was friendly and super welcoming. Pricing is great too.
