UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! This is place is delicious! I got the shrimp cocktail and I loved it. My spouse got the tacos Al carbon and he enjoyed it as well. The salsas are both great! Atmosphere is nice. The employees are extremely nice and accommodating. This is a must try for yourself!

The food was good. My only criticisms are that they use pre-made taco shells like you find in a grocery store. No Mexican restaurant worth a damn should ever use pre-made shells. The rice also has too many corn and peas.

Service is outstanding and the food is great.The new ownership has made tremendous progress and solved any problems prior reviews may have mentioned.The wait staff and owner came from Neca’s and are doing a great job.

We haven’t been here in a few months, and we just came today and found out they have new owners, they have remodeled the place and it looks so good! At first we were a little let down because it didn’t have the same menu, but we went with recommendations they gave and they did not disappoint! Very delicious food, and the fresh home made corn tortillas were amazing. We also met the owner and he’s a very nice and friendly guy. Everyone was very welcoming. The young waiter guy was very attentive and was very nice too. We will definitely come back again :) I recommend coming here! My family and I ate dinner here on Sunday. We had a great experience, Brandon, our waiter was very kind and attentive. We had the fajitas for two, enchiladas poblanas, margaritas ! Everything was just delicious. They even gave us a complimentary flan to finish our food. Even the owner came to check on us, sounds like he just took over. They are doing a great job.
A true Jewel in Katy. The last time I had come was 15 years ago… this place just got better. The menu has improved, great choices, atmosphere, every single plate we tried was on point. The Ashley plate has a perfect amount of meat for a breakfast that’s if you are very hungry. The portion on the other plates was perfect. I always judge a place by their coffee. They’re basic coffee and it was on point. Did not need any sugar. The new management has definitely made this place a lot better than it was. Also, let’s not forget, the restroom was very clean and it smells great. If you want true, Mexican experience, Mr Juan will make sure you get it! Cannot wait to come to check out their dinner menu.( P.s The pancakes are a must! They gave you two very large pancakes. We were impressed. You didn’t even need syrup. They are perfectly buttered and crispy on the outside, but fluffy in the inside)

We walked in and the place smelt like sewer. I had coffee that tasted like old sewage water and chilaquiles that were drizzled in oil. This is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The people are nice but it dosnt save this place from the horrible food.
