Their Bun Bo Hue is pretty tasty. Not the best but way better than a lot of spots. It does lack a bit of spice like how a Bun Bo Hue is supposed to have but overall it’s quite good! Just really wished they added all the meats that usually comes with it! Not too shabby though!

Very good noodle soup here! The toppings, broth, service, and noodles were superb! I loved their chili oil/sauce too that you can ask for! The smaller size was very filling, I could barely finish mine. I’d come back!

Beef rice plate portion is rather small for $14.50. It came with a few pieces of beef, a lot of white rice and didn't really fill me up. And too much msg was used, which made me terribly sleepy afterward. Not a whole lot of value of your dollar here.

I have always seen Phanh Ky from a distance every time I have visited the area of Katy Asia Town. I've never thought to go inside until my parents wanted to have dinner this week. We wanted Vietnamese food given the colder weather outside and this place is great with the options of soup with their noodle dishes. The menu is simple: same meats and toppings for every noodle dish, you can choose to have the dish as a soup or dry with a side soup version. There are other non-noodle dishes. Each noodle dish has a comes with two different types of noodles. Whichever way you choose, the soup is warming to the heart and soul. My wife choose the dry version while the rest of us ended up with soups. At first I was a bit jealous of her choice until I took my first sip of the soup and was happy with the flavoring and texture of the noodles. In times when restaurants may have too many options, you cannot go wrong with any of the choices here.

The food was so mid, the servers were very pushy on food that they recommended that we felt we couldn't say no. i do not recommended. We ordered 4 pho egg noodles medium size, and why was it 80? that is ridiculous it was mostly broth, i don't recommend at all.Dried Noodle

I was craving vietnamese dry noodles. My complete mistake I did not look at the menu before. They literally only have 1 type of bowl. You can change the type of noodles and have it with soup or dry ( soup on the side). I took my non asian inlaws here. They were a bit shocked by the lack of choices, but they enjoyed it. I will definitely come back. The hu tieu texture is spot on. The ladies were also very nice to us. Now, the nostalgia, I feel like if one of my childhood street vendors moved into a brick and mortar, this would be it. In Vietnam, this is how it is. They have 1 pot of soup, maybe 2-3 types of noodles, some toppings, and thats it. Everyone gets a variation of 1 item and it was delicious!

I went to the one at Katy Asian Town. The place was pretty clean. Food portion was a little smaller than other place, I thought ?.One thing I do want to bring to your attention. Double check the bill, since they (staffs) only key your bill in the cash register, but never show you (customers) a breakdown. I got charged $43 for 2 bowls and water (before tips). I won't dare to verify because I was with my girl LOL .
