I went there on Sunday with my husband, parents, and infant daughter. The food was cold when we got it. We also were charged with an automatic 18% gratuity, because we were a “party of 5 or more”. We sat in a booth in the corner with our daughter in the stroller. She did not drink or eat anything. The server never had to provide anything for her, never served her, but she counted her so the server could get a bigger tip. I would understand being charged if she were actually eating. That is absolutely ridiculous, the server/ restaurant is being stingy. Our server also checked on us twice, so they charge you to get more money without having to do a good job.

Upon my visit here the overall design was nice but for some reason I was a little uncomfortable in the beginning until my Hibachi chef came, which turned out to be a Teppanyaki chef. I was so pleased. He did a wonderful job. I was the only one at my table, but he still was very entertaining and engaging. I even had lots of laughs. That service made the trip worth it there.

It was good with a ribatchi chef making a real presentation when preparing the dishes. I've eaten at other restaurants, the portion was more generous and the presentation was more fun.Vegetarian options: Vegetables and salads as well as vegan protein.

Expensive but the show is good for hibachi and the food is tasty. Just watch out for the one chef who loves to use an abundance of pepper! It's shogun bro, not cajun!

We arrived at 12pm for lunch. NOBODY was there! We asked to be seated in the Hibachi area. It was 3 of us so she sat us closer to the end of the table. We moved our seating so that we were sitting in a way to speak with each other by looking side by side. We were told she sat us the way she did cause if 6 more came they would have to sit next to each other. There were 6 chairs left. I stated there are still 6 chairs and they could sit them in those chairs that were left open. Or sit at another table. The host said oh no we not going to do that we would have to move as she walked off shaking her head. The other lady comes out to take drinks and states the same as the previous lady. I question what was the big deal no one was there. She explained but also said I'm sure yall will be okay no one is in here. I also mention she was nicer than the previous lady. She stated that was her mom. I told her to teach her mom customer service because she was unprofessional!! Her moms comes from out the kitchen starring in our direction and giving the mad face. I guess she assumed cause she stated her mother the comments would stop thst she was unprofessional. NO, I continue to talk and state how unprofessional she was. The daughter took our drink orders and brought them out. She slammed my glass, and place the other down. She then takes our food orders didn't ask what I was ordering as she asked the other ladies, not only that didn't ask if I wanted a refill instead reached between the lady I was sitting next to and just poured my drink. The ladies I was with asked for 3 to go boxes she handed 1 to the 1st lady and 2 to the second lady for her to hand me mine so she didn't have to hand me my to go box. Which is fine with me but this is what lead to this long review. The cook was awesome and the food was delicious!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE.... .......KEEP IN MIND ALL THIS WENT ON WITH 5 PEOPLE TOTAL IN THE RESTAURANT AT THIS TIME!! THEY WERE NOT BUSY AND THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR THE ATTITUDE BECAUSE WE MOVED FROM THE WAY SHE SAT US!!! PLEASE TRAIN HER AND HER DAUGHTER CUSTOMER SERVICE OR GET THEM OUT BEFORE THEY RUIN THE BUSINESS!!! THE HOST IS THE 1ST CONTACT WITH THE CUSTOMER. IF SHE UGLY TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER IT THROWS THE ENTIRE VISIT OFF!!! MY COMPANY LOVES THIS PLACE BUT IF IT WAS LEFT UP TO ME I WOULD NOT REVISIT UNTIL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPROVED!!! FIND BETTER HELP!!!! HELP THEM UNDERSRSND THRY ARE THE FACE OF YOUR ESTABLISHMENT....READING OTHER PEOPLE VIEWS I SEE THIS IS A ISSUE WITH THIS LOCATION.......CUSTOMER SERVICE

The food was excellent. The server was responsive and brought Wasabi when asked. The atmosphere would have been a five star except three young children had free reign and ran throughout the resteraunt.Kid-friendliness: Very ' kid' friendly ..... was somewhat disruptive.Wheelchair accessibility: Adequate parking for ♿️.

A very clean resteraunt. The food was very fresh and tasty. Although we had to ask for Wasabi it was brought out immediately. Though no fault of the resteraunt, three young children ran around unmonitired by their parents.

Service is so slow and is because they don’t have enough servers. The sushi is the worst I have ever tasted, I would have rather have sushi from Kroger than to go back there. The charge 18% gratuity saying is for parties with more than 5 people but I went with my husband and two daughters and they still charged us, and we were so done we did not have the will to fight it. Never coming back. I don’t understand why they have 5 stars reviews

This is a fantastic resturaunt featuring Japanese hibachi style cuisine. It's a bit more serious than other hibachi style places where the chefs appear to focus more on the food and less on tricks. Don't get me wrong, they still do their fair share of tricks, but is better balanced to enhance the experience instead of taking front seat. What you end up with is perfectly cooked food that is delicious instead of overcooked food you justify because they were busy doing tricks. It's a resturaunt after all, food is the more important key and Shogun hits the mark perfectly. The sushi holds its own, but where they excel is in the fresh cooked items such as steak, scallops, lobster, and shrimp. If you order your steak rare or medium, it will be cooked to precise order and scallops are cooked to perfection rather than overcooked as often in most hibatchi style resturaunts.

This was my first time here or at any Japanese restaurant. I was with a group for my sister's birthday and everything was amazing except for our server. We weren't a gigantic party. There were 8 of us and, yes, 8 is a semi-big party, but when I was a server, I served bigger parties with less problems than she had. First when we ordered, after confirming she got my order correct, she gave me a dirty look and then when I handed her my menu, she snatched it from me. I was nothing but polite to her, so I'm not sure why she was doing this. The orders came and it was all good, except she didn't even bring my mom's Chicken Crunch Roll until everyone was pretty much done eating. At first we thought that she just didn't put hers in. When she went to refill my drink (which I ordered a coke while most people ordered tea or water), she didn't even ask what I was drinking or if I had tea, what kind it was, she just grabbed my glass and started pouting unsweet tea into it, which I probably never wouldve ordered. Sweet tea or half sweet/half unsweet but never full out unsweet. I tried to tell her I had coke, not tea, but she was already filling my glass before I could get words out. I just took it and drank it until she came back to refill where she FINALLY asked what tea I had so I told her I had coke, not tea. She just said "oh", grabbed my glass, refilled it and set it on the table. Then when checks came, I didn't even know she had grabbed the thing with my cash and card in it because I was talking to my niece, but she came back and asked how I wanted to arrange it. But when she came back with the card and receipts and all, she put my oldest niece's in front of kids (what the heck) and gave mine to my oldest niece. She didn't even ask whose was whose before just setting them down. Finally when I asked for a to-go coke just before we left, she acted like I asked her for the moon. The food was good and the Hibachi chef was amazing. A few people in our group did Hibachi. Only problem I had was our server.
