Met my dad there for Easter as its between us. The place was nicer than I had thought with tv screens to watch while you eat. Ordered the raw oysters and crawfish. Crawfish could have been soaked in seasoning longer but cooked perfect. Waiter was Jordan and he was great. Stayed on top of everything and excellent service. Overall good experience and will be meeting my dad there again soon

I came to have lunch. No one attended at the entrance to find a table for you. Then they didn't put cutlery and gave me plastic cutlery. The salad was very poorly prepared. The salmon was also poorly prepared. I do not recommend coming to this restaurant.

The food here was amazing. As a Louisiana native, I can honestly say the food AND portion size exceeded my expectations. Our server was attentive and extremely helpful with assisting us in navigating the menu and choosing what to eat. Looking forward to dining here again soon. The alligator was top tier!!!

We wanted good seafood and stumbled upon TaD’s. What a find! The food was amazing. I got the Cajun Catfish and it was outstanding. The sweet potato side was massive and the toppings were very flavorful. Our waitress Holly was so kind and very attentive. We will be back.

Came for crawfish! (3/2024 it was 2 lbs for $20.50; or 4 lbs for $40). Crawfish was good! Decent size! I like their Tad's sauce. We also order the Seafood Appetizer Platter with fried shrimp (really good batter), fried catfish , and fried alligator. What I did Not like was the Seafood Trio (Saturday deal for $35). The snow crab and dungenous crab lacked flavor; and the boiled shrimp were awful - No flavor, powdery texture. I would not order than platter again. Stick to the Crawfish! Drink recommendation:::: order a flavored ranch water. I really liked the wild berry flavor, mango was good, and peach ok. We also got a Lava cake for dessert - regret that! It was dry and airy. Its about the size of a large cupcake so 1-2 people could share it. This was our first visit. They do have outdoor seating and what looks like a private party room. Bathrooms were super clean. Our waitress was great!!!! Amazing and nice considering people eating crawfish are messy and needy but she never let our drinks get empty, and was very attentive! Great experience with customer service!

Just left Tad's because they would not seat us in the dining room! It's 6:00pm on a Wednesday night. We don't want to sit in a bar with a baby to eat. Ridiculous.

The meal that I ordered was good. The meal was the "all you can eat" fried catfish. Good quality catfish and delicious french fries. It was served with a "house" tarter sauce which was good as well. The waitress that we had was good, but I feel like the restaurant may have been under staffed because the waitress wasn't as attentive to us as she would've liked to have been. We were a party of ten people. This was my first trip to the restaurant and honestly I feel like it deserves a second chance. Also the menu prices were fair.
Service was average. Server was nice but Everyone moved so slow. The food was trash! Everything was extremely salty. Everything from the appetizer to the entrée was disgusting. Far from "Louisiana Cooking" I'm convinced they want you to leave with high blood pressure.

I was a little hesitant to stop with a score of 3 stars. After reading the reviews I gave it a shot. We arrived at opening but started to fill fast so the locals must know. I got 1/2 dozen oysters and my wife onion rings. The oyster were small so they gave me 8, that's how you do it! The onion rings were amazing. I ordered the 2lbs of crawfish and a side of fries. Their Tuesday deal was 4lbs of bugs for $29. Had my appetite been bigger it would have been on! On that note 2 lbs were $21, not too shabby. The bugs were mostly medium size but there were some jumbos. My wife did the fried shrimp lunch special which she said was great. She wasn't a fan of the fries but did like the coleslaw. A couple hushpuppies on her plate would have been nice but maybe because it was a lunch special. The food came out quickly and our drinks were never empty! Overall a great experience!
