I used to love this place when they had thai chef. Last visiting, we ordered several dishes. We were disappointed, every single dish taste off, I knew right away the chef wasn’t Thai. When I asked the waiter, he confirmed that the chef was not Thai!

So overall I give this place 4 stars.Service and all was good but my lady and I received dirty water glasses and it was dirty from the inside. Cups needs polished.We also did not receive one of the dishes weordered but mistakes happen.Food was americanized for Thai food but we are in America so I can’t judge too much.Fish dish we got was soso and didn’t have much flavor but others may like.Overall it was an ok first experience for me personally and encourage people to try at lest once. I kinda expect a lot and could have definitely given a lower score due to several of the issues, but I didn’t want to come off too hard after 1 try.

The curry is some of the best I have had in Houston so far. The restaurant is super clean. It's all about good food. Not really a date night romantic spot.Prices were good. As expectedI'm coming back.

I've had Thai from probably at least 12 restaurants around town and this is by far the worst. The red curry tastes like Campbell's tomato soup and when I asked for 5/5 spicy it was more like what a 3 would be at most places.When we came in on a Friday@2:30 no one was there to seat us, however after a minute the server who was eating in the dining area got up to seat us and then forgot my diet coke twice and brought me white rice when I asked for fried.

THAICOON, is a nice restaurant. The Panang was pretty good. The rice was fine. The wrapper shrimp were good as well. The Ginger Beer was excellent.FYI: thai food is my favorite, so I may have judged more critical. Try it, it was good.
Negative vibe from staff. I left before I ordered food or drink (staff just looked pissed off then would continue to ignore).

very messed up place especially during lunch. I ordered today 4 dishes and they messed up big time. I ordered on the phone and the tall spanish lady with black hari argues with me and still took the order wrong. I went in there and waited almost 30 min for them to fix it after talking to the other waitress and thinking they couldn't possible mess up after this, I was wrong !!!!!! they completely messed up the order again. It's like I'm dealing with uneducated waitresses :::( on top of that I tried to call 5 times; twice they hung up on me even though this is after 2pm and the rest of the time, they refuse to pick up saying they were busy !!!! I"m going this evening to return all the food and get a refund !!!!
