Terrible terrible service. I called in at 12:09 to order 1 pad see ew and 1 mango sticky rice. A lady told me it will be ready in 15 minutes. I walked into the restaurant and I was ignored for 15 minutes. I reminded them that I had a Togo order and I have been waiting for a while now. They asked me to wait and they will check on it. They came back telling me that the chief is making my food right now. After another 20 minutes I asked them again how much longer do I have to wait. I have been waiting for an hour now. They said my noodle is ready but the dessert is not ready yet. I complained that the wait time is unreasonably long and I have to go back to work. The lady said she can make my dessert in 5 min. Now knowing that the dessert only takes 5 min to make, I'm pretty sure they forgot about my order. They only made my food becuz I had reminded them a couple times. This is my first time going there and will be my last time. Terrible experience. No restaurant is worth 1 hour wait time to get your food.

The moneybags are a must! They taste delicious . I also love the red curry and the yellow curry.

Used to be one of my favorite Thai Restaurants in the area. I am a Thai-Lao American and was let down twice. Maybe there was a change in ownership or chefs? All the thai decor was removed. My past two experiences was not how I remembered it to be. Not authentic, disappointing, and not worth going back. Thai Iced Thai - milky and watered down. Pandan Iced Tea - good Kids Chicken Fritters - supposed to be breaded nuggets with waffles fries. Received fried chicken tenders, appeared similar and tasted alot like frozen Tyson tenders. Kids Beef Fried Rice - bland, not sure what made it a thai dish. Crispy Pork Belly with Chinese Broc - pork was chewy and hard to bite through, overall dish was salty Boat Noodle - came with a handful of parsley and bean sprouts, meatball was cold yet served with hot soup, Creme Brulee - good

I had really high expectations for this place and it just didn't quite meet any of those. Went during lunch with a friend and the service was decent. Papaya salad was HUGE but extremely bland. I had the red curry and the portion was itty bitty. The Thai tea was SICKLY sweet. I usually can tell if a Thai restaurant will be good based on their Thai tea and, well, I wasn't wrong. It wasn't good. They overcharged us and I caught it. They fixed it quickly though without much hassle. Unfortunately, probably not worth a visit back.

Great lunch spot for Thai food. It was slightly busy during lunch hour. We were seated fairly quickly. Food was good not great, had to add a few fish sauce and chili peppers onto the papaya salad, but I understand the food is catered to the average consumer. The veggie egg rolls was really good. The red curry was typical curry. The Thai boat noodle, was ok, nothing special

Third time we ordered take out from here and we done. We ordered pad c ew salad ($19!), tom yum noodle soup ($14), chicken satay (no amount of money could make this good), yellow curry (this is where the second star comes from) and pad woon sen. Order was messed up. Curry arrived without rice even though we paid for it. You could not eat the chicken sate (no stick to make it worse), yellow curry was good but the rest of the food was just not good. $119.00 for 3 mains, a soup and a appetizer! You check it out yourself but as a family we done here.

I love thai food and this place is great if you're looking for authentic Thai food. I had dinner here with my family and recommend trying the pineapple fried rice. Everything is plated beautifully and the robot waiter is a nice touch.

The 4 stars are for the food alone, if the food wasn't so good I would have rated much lower because the service was pretty bad. We both enjoyed the moneybags as an appetizer, really crisp and the crab/cream cheese mixture inside was really good. I had the yellow curry and my friend got the green curry. We both loved our curry's. The tofu tasted a bit bitter for me but the flavor of the yellow curry was outstanding and it was full of veggies and potatoes. The cat robot waiters were cute but seemed unnecessary since the actual waitstaff slowly walks behind it then places the food on your table. After our initial order we never saw our waiter again. I flagged down someone for water refills and after a very long time we finally went looking for our waiter to get to go boxes and the check. There are signs all over apologizing for being short staffed but the restaurant was almost empty so that really wasn't a good excuse for the poor service. The inside is cute but based on the service this might be a better place to order take out.

Super cute shop, they have books and games for you to use while you are there. Delicious coffee with lots of variety. Recommend

I truly hate to leave this Karen-y review but the lunch three of us just had was -awful-. The basil dish had Bondo-grey chicken in it (and I DO MEAN GREY) that nobody dared to eat and the chicken satay came with ONE PIECE plus scraps of chicken (see photo) for eight bucks. Tom yum tasted like salt, sugar and low tide. The rangoon pieces, also shortchanged, were limp and greasy. I am so disappointed. Maybe the restaurant is short on staff? I don't know what's going on but $65 for next to no food--plus inedible food!--is just bad. I WILL NOT be back until I have proof things have improved.

Thaicoon is a refreshing place to go when you're craving Thai. The portions are very plentiful. We got the money bags for the appetizers ( these are like crab rangoons) and they are quite crispy. I feel like the mixture inside was done well. I also ordered the pad Thai which was also good but it felt like it was a tad bit too sweet than what I am used to. Overall, I believe I would go again. I heard wonders about their Thai iced tea so I can't wait to try it the next time I go.

Ladies and Gents I think I finally found a Thai restaurant that has captured my attention and has made the FAN list!!! Parking was great, very eclectic on the inside, the service was awesome, and the food was amazing!!! The waiter was very friendly and engaged the whole visit. This is definitely a great spot for a lunch date any day of the week. Now let's talk about the EATS!!! The wife and I tried the Moneybags (similar to Crab Ragoons) which were filled with ingredients and flavor. The veggie rolls and the Firecracker shrimp followed which included a row of spices to take the heat to another level!!! The Entree I tried was the "Veggie Delight" Rice dish. One of the best stir fry dishes I've had in a long time!!!! I made the choice of SPICE level 2 (the highest is 5). Be careful with the Spice heat!!! Just an FYI. My wife had the "Pad WOONSEN" and based on the overall experience we will be back as often as we can. If you are visiting the Katy Asian town make sure you make plans to enjoy this goodness!!!!

Given the high review ratings and location in Katy Asia Town, I was expecting high quality authentic flavors. The food is disappointing, much better Thai options available throughout Houston. We ordered a number of dishes as we were excited to try the food, nothing stood out. We had a lot of leftovers and when we asked for boxes the servers offered to pack the food. I had an entire chicken panang curry, which I only had two bites of that the servers did not pack. When you're charging almost $20 per entree and don't pack it for your guests, that's not even poor service, that's inexcusable. -The papaya salad was not fresh, the papaya seemed wilted -The panang chicken curry apart from not packing it for me, was blah. The chicken was thrown in a pre-made curry, they didn't even make an effort to mix it. The chicken was still white, clearly cooked separately -The calamari was super chewy and tough to eat -The pad thai looked authentic in the egg wrap, but flavors were off -The basil tofu was decent -The firecracker shrimp roll was decent -Tom Yum soup was cold The robot server is a fun gimmick and definitely stood out above the less than average food and service.
