Came in for happy hour and sat in the open patio area with our dog. Saw several waiters and hostesses walk by us and completely ignore us. After 20 minutes we flagged down the closest waiter for menus and he never brought them. When happy hour was over a hostess brought us menus and said we were supposed to check in inside first. Hard to do at a pet friendly establishment (walking a large dog through a restaurant isn't smart) but something that could've been addressed very easily by any staff passing by us. They did not get any of our money but they wasted our evening and happy hour.

Sat outside for 30 minutes and asked several service members for menus and nobody brought us any so we left. Disappointed.

The place was beautiful. We showed up during some type of family event, but the staff still let us sit at the bar. Only had an app and a few drinks, but the service was great!

First time visit. The food is very good. The service for me was a bit slow. Will I visit again, of course, but I will plan it accordingly.

Visited The Oaks to celebrate my wife’s Bday after driving by several times around the area, we decided to give them a try. We invited a family of 4 just like ours so in total party of 8. Long story short food was not really all there but got really motivated me to write this is review is the fact that they added a default 25% to the bill as a standard tip. We have been to other restaurants with much better quality of food and ambiance with the same friends and we have never been charged such a high amount for service. Dont get me wrong one thing is volunteering to pay for the service and having a standard percentage based on party size which in my opinion we were just a normal size party and another is be voluntold the amount. We are certainly not coming back at least with a group just because of this little issue. Hope they change their policy.

Great views, food was tasty. I had the Reuben with fries. Very tasty. Great lighting and lodge like feel. Spacious.

My family of four visited this restaurant for the first time this past Sunday for brunch. We ordered the empanadas appetizer and four entrees. All of the entrees came out cold except the empanadas. I ordered the steak and eggs. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare and it can out well done. I sent it back and the temperature was right, but there was no flavor on the steak and the steak had more fat than meat. Last but not least, the pictures of the restaurant was misleading because restaurant is the actual subdivision community center. I explained my issues to my server and instead of a manager coming out to speak to me the server asked if I was ready to close my check. I definitely will not go back.

Cold frys, raw burger on the child's plate, bloody (almost raw) steak. Chicken Marsala was served with cheese. Food was not good. Waiter was really good and nice The place was busy but not crowded Desert was sold out by 7 pm. Great wine selection.

We had an amazing experience here with the restaurant. The food and the ambience was great ! It’s family and kid friendly . Our waiter Angel was very kind, personable and prompt .the GM Juliet is an incredible person to meet and I can see why this place is a must go to in Katy . We had the salmon Alfredo and the fire grilled pork chops with baked sweet potatoes and asparagus…no words but chef kiss . Definitely will be back again !

Menu is good but expect a 25% gratuity to be added to your bill with large parties. Service was not that amazing to have to pay that much!

They’ll sit your kids in 90 degree heat outside even with a reservation for homecoming. Don’t go here.
