I was really craving empanadas and found this place searching Google maps. I ordered 3 different “entree style” empanadas - Chicken BBQ, Bacon burger & English. Cheeseburger was definitely my favorite ! I love that they were all filled so well & not tons of bread with a little bit of filling ( pictures included ). The ENGLISH was ok, I expected more from it. The filling was a bit dry like it could’ve been made the day before, but I loved the potatoes inside with the vegetables....read full review
I’ve been going to the Marini’s in the Westchase area of west Houston for 10 years or more. About a year ago my wife and I moved out to Katy, and I am so glad to once again, be living 5 minutes from the best empanadas around! My personal favorite is the Texan BBQ, and my wife can’t live without the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Apple Gabriela for dessert. The Marini family truly cares about their product and provides excellent customer service. They have earned my weekly business.
I have visited both the Katy and Westheimer locations. While their menus are considerably different, you can expect the same exceptional quality at both locations. I have never been disappointed by the level of service or quality of the food. And I thoroughly enjoy every empanada I have eaten from Marinis.
