Enjoyed another visit and learning about different Teishoky dishes. Love the decor and layout of the restaurant. Very attentive service and knowledgeable waitress, Recomended a great wine for us to enjoy. We had a happy hour starter before ordering main course and were really impressed with the “taco” particularly the octopus, we have had many octopus over the years but this one was tasty and one of our favorites, also enjoyed the blue fin tuna taco - very fresh and balanced with some avocado and cucumber wrapped in the seafood. We followed with Teishoku ( a tray consisting of a main course and some sides) one was the sashimi (bluefin tuna, yellowtail, Scottish salmon) all high quality fish served with a bowl of soup, a bowl of rice and two veggie sides (seaweed, daikon) but the best was the fresh wasabi which has has much more depth. Our other main course always the House hamburger served on a bed of onions and the same sides (we swapped the rice for a side of Okra) and very thing is presented with attention to detail from the tray to each dish - very pleasing to the eye.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight and will be back.

My partner and I got to try @thehouseoftwentyfive back in November for our anniversary and have made it our go to place to celebrate with a good meal and well curated drink menu to match. We always recommend House of Twenty five to friends, family, and anyone asking for a unique yet classic take on Japanese cuisine and dining experience in Katy. I used to work in a Japanese restaurant myself with a pretty extensive whiskey menu and I vouch for the this old fashion! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Craving Japanese cuisine, we decided to check out Twenty Five Teishoku House, and it was an absolutely impressive dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, the delicious food, exceptional service, and the beautifully designed ambiance truly stood out. Celebrating a birthday dinner here was made even more special with a complimentary Crème Brûlée from the executive chef, a gesture that really touched us. Overall, our experience at Twenty Five Teishoku House was wonderful, leaving us with no doubt that we will definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great Japanese food in a lovely setting.

Sushi as it was meant to be, traditional with a twist...the Salmon Taco is a must try.

we came as soon as they opened after a rainy day and they graciously wiped down the patio seats so our dog can join us outside. then someone came out and offered a water bowl for her. we were so impressed with their service.as for food, we ordered…Fatty beef over rice - flavorfulTeishoku (hamachi kama) - the fish was perfect, well seasoned and NOT overcooked which I loved, the side dishes provided a balance of sweet, salty, spicy and tart25 burger - salmon was delicious, but the bun would have made the dish even better if it were crunchier, similar to crispy ricewe’d definitely return and would love to try their tacos

I've mulled over reviewing this spot for a while, I felt it needed multiple visits. So, what do I think? Well...For starters, I don't know any names but shoutout of the people working up front. The service is quick and friendly, everyone who's served me so far has been awesome. You know who you are so thanks!-As for the food, for now I'll say it's good. Certainly not amazing BUT I'm willing to admit I need to try more of what they have to offer. From what I HAVE tried (tempura, chicken curry, miso soup, gyoza) they have ranged in quality, usually on the fair side. Other than some hard rice every now and again everything has been consistently good. That said, I feel like something is missing.. a particular "umph" that's hard to put into words. If you're ordering takeout everything is biodegradable. This place is guaranteed a star just for that. Recycle kids.-As for the atmosphere, this is probably the most unfortunate part of the review. It's not the decor or anything, but just the emptiness of the establishment. I've never seen a full house and you're lucky to spot more than two groups here at once. It's not the liveliest joint; it could make up for that with more intimate decor but it doesn't feel well suited to that vibe either. I'm interested to have a drink at the bar, but I can't confidently say I'm enticed to.Maybe it's the random assortment of shows on the TV (from kids movies to dramas) or the pop music over the speakers, but things often feel.. disconnected from each other.-As for pricing, expect to drop $20-25 on a single meal, and $28-$40 if you plan on trying their more enticing offerings.-In all, I'll be back. While the atmosphere feels cold, the service feels warm and the food is quite alright. 4 Stars!

Absolutely amazing. The sashimi was perfect. The portions were large and quality was the same as MF sushi and other places inside the loop at 3 times rhe price. Truly a fantastic meal and service.

We were going to a different restaurant but we just happened to see this restaurant on the frontage and decided to try it out. The service was great. They were kind and attentive. The ambiance is nice. We ordered the bacon hug, gyoza, and the sashimi set. It was all delicious, especially since we are use to eating Japanese restaurants inside the 610 loop. Definitely worth the price and I recommend it. Will eat here again.

Starting with the positives...the decor is unique and creative. Seating time was quick. And the sushi was good quality. The wait time is why I gave a one star. Which means it was a significant impact in our experience. There were two parties that were seated previous and the staff used "catching up on orders" as the first excuse. After that the excuses were non stop. My dish was prepared incorrectly which they offered to give a refund and prepare a second but the wait time was so horrendous that I wouldn't even stay to have them prepare a second. Needless to say they need to work on the kitchen and how they can work efficiently and effectively.

Food: pretty descent. I love the taste of the REAL wasabi imported from Japan. Service: Cannot complain. Ambiance: Fantastic. Interior and exterior all thoughtful and opulent design. Recommend it for business lunch or dinner with your spouses.

This is a higher end Japanese restaurant that specializes in teishoku, or basically set meals where you're served an entree, soup, salad, rice and small side dishes. It's very tastefully decorated and would be a perfect date night or special occasion gathering place. The prices are slightly higher than a bento place, ranging from $20-30ish, but I feel the price is justified because of the decor and portion size (definitely very generous for one person). I can tell a lot of thought was put into the restaurant, from the menu design (the drawings are SUPER cute), napkins are heavy and prettily designed paper towels, higher end disposable chopsticks, filtered water, etc. The food is beautifully presented also. I was a bit sad that the tonkatsu and chicken katsu weren't impressive (slightly dry and a bit bland in flavor) and some of the flavors of the side dishes I didn't really enjoy. Also the rice bun on the 25 burger was disappointing because it was too dense and only the bottom was crispy, making it difficult to eat. My favorite was the chirashi. SO yum and the most beautifully presented I've seen in Houston. The sashimi is cut thick and they give you fresh wasabi. Would definitely come back for this specific dish!
