Well 3 weeks ago my daughter and I were going to eat at Julio’s, We get there only to find a Tag on the front door saying closed tagged for Grease Trap. That did it for us we will not be doing back! Makes one wonder what other possible food handling may not pass

I figured they would close down sooner or later. I quit going there around 2020. I loved their food and especially the Tortilla Soup. But when they quit having it I stopped going. Why wouldn’t you have Tortilla Soup at a Mexican Restaurant? That’s what happens when you have someone in the North East making decisions on what people in Texas likes as far as food. Adios uncle Julio’s!!!

This is the only place that makes frijoles a la charra like my Mexican mother. I love this food!

Great place. Parking is an obstacle so come early on Friday's and Saturday's.
Very nice place to eat. Very elegant and the staff are very attentive to your needs. Food is good, not the best but good. Next time I will try sometime different to see if it was just the enchiladas that were just ok or just that day.

Food was okay, but the service was so slowwwww, and it wasn't even busy at all for a Friday. Second time here and the last. There's better TexMex restaurants in the area with better service. The tables next to us weren't to fond of the service as well. The lady next to us had to get up and ask for drinks. That just tells you.

I rarely leave reviews however, I believe this should be mentioned. I live in the city and wanted to come out here to have dinner with my girlfriend. Showing up on a Sunday afternoon hoping that the atmosphere what if it better at the ambience would’ve been better however, it was slow and dead. We sat at the bar in which we did not get treated until 3 1/2 minutes later in which the gentleman came over and had Very little insight on what the menu was. We ordered a skinny Margarita, and it ended up terrible. They use syrup jalapeños instead of real jalapeños, and the drink was sweet. I generally do authentic Mexican food instead of the Tex-Mex. However, if I do, I’m gonna stick with Pappasito’s. Good luck y’all

Vegetarians beware! We Stopped at the Katy Location for dinner. The atmosphere was great and the server even better. We had Table side guacamole which was excellent. We ordered enchiladas and requested extra vegetables and less cheese. The kitchen made Cheese enchiladas with hardly any vegetables. The server tried to get the kitchen to remake it..the second enchilada came out fast and had all the vegetables we requested. The enchilada was Stone Cold The kitchen failed again. Thanks for trying perhaps this restaurant isn't a good choice for vegetarians. Others like Lupe's, Spanish Flowers and Ambrizo have a vegetarian menu.Quote disappointed since we work close to this location. Will try it again one more time.Vegetarian options: This is not a place to go if you're vegetarian, unless they add a vegetarian menu and train the kitchen on how to make good vegetarian food.

Three is generous based on my experience. We arrived at 11:15, 15 minutes after the restaurant opened, and waited 5 minutes for them to unlock their doors. The outside of my glass was gritty. Hopefully the inside was clean. I asked for steak fajita and chicken fajita tacos. I got chicken and chicken fajita tacos. I asked for 2x refried beans, no rice. I got 2x charro beans. The food I got was decent but salty.
