This place was horrible and I never say I would give someone less than one star, but these guys "earned" it. Glad they closed and brought a good place in TOSTADA REGIA!

With a sad face as I type this up Victor's restaurant is no longer open after years and years of going there with my family. This place has been our go to for Friday night dinners and special occasions. I would always recommend it to friends and folks that were looking for a great place to enjoy some delicious food with fantastic service. My family and I have just learned that the best waiter Cruz passed away last year. Our hearts are broken. He was the MOST amazing waiter always taking care of my family knowing exactly what we wanted, always had great conversations, and made us laugh. He was a big part of why Victors was so successful from talking to other colleagues who always would go eat to the restaurant. I hope that you will honor his name somehow possibly making a dish in recognition of his service throughout the many years. We love Victor too. They have another location in Richmond I believe which I have never been, so maybe we will be the opportunity to stop by and see if we can get a feel of what Victors meant to my family and I.

The food was pretty good. The service was just slow and not very attentive. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe someone called in and they're short staffed because of the pandemic. This was my first time there but I heard good things from friends. But this was a Tuesday, the place wasn't exactly packed. I'll go back at some point and give them another shot. Solid margaritas and tasty Tex-Mex.

As soon as we walked in the place looked deserted. No one was there to greet us, even the counter by the entrance was empty and the whole place is dark. Most of all the smell that hits you as soon as you walk in makes you sick to your stomach. We had never been here so we looked around for a greeter or a waiter and no one was around, another customer who I'm assuming is a regular told us to sit where we'd like. We sat down but the smell is so strong it smells like something has been stored for ages. Even the menus are filthy. The ceiling is open and you can clearly see the place hasn't been properly cleaned in years. The thought of a piece of dust from the ceiling falling in our food and the smell was too much for us so we left.

Victor's has been a Tex Mex staple on north Fry Rd for more than 20 years. All the food is fresh and made to order.
Always go there for date night. The whole staff and owner are always so polite. Even the owner makes a point to come to our table to greet us and ask how we have been doing.

This was my first stop at Victor’s Casa Garcia Mexican Restaurant… man that’s a long name for a restaurant. Anyway the food was great! I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas which came with refried beans and rice, I substituted the refried beans for Charros they were excellent almost as good as my moms cooking! I must say I was disappointed in the portion of rice it was like they were trying to save some or maybe they we’re running low on rice either way the portion was odd and so was the portion served to the persons who joined me for lunch. I still recommend Victors because the food was served hot and was very flavorful! As someone who was raised on Mexican Food I highly recommend you Check them out.
