Not going to lie to you, the kitchen is not good. The burgers are decent. Anything that's fried is inconsistent and most time comes out undercooked. The most reliable best item on the menu in my opinion is the grilled chicken salad.The bartenders and drinks are great and reasonably priced though. I don't go there to eat. I go there for the camaraderie and for bar trivia.The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. Always a fun crowd. I think in the 10 or so years I've gone there I've seen one or two altercations.

I don’t think I’ve been here since it was Bronson rock but we went to see So long goodnight and had such a great time. Friendly bartenders and great drinks! Only negative was the smoke.

Went there last Saturday to go see a band my buddy wanted me to see.This place used to be Bronson Rocks which I liked better.I just don't remember paying 20 bucks for a cover charge.Not to mention people being able to smoke in this place.The venue it's self is not bad.The drinks are pretty reasonably priced.The food is pretty decent for bar food.Would I come back again?Maybe?but it would have to be a band I really wanted to go see considering 20 bucks is the cover charge.When I can do down the street to the ice house and see bands for free.It will probably be awhile before you see me back here.

Mystery Sweet
Live in Plano but made the trek to see “The Alternatives” on a whim. SO worth the drive! Such a chill place, has something for everyone looking for a cool nightlife vibe. Two stages, pool tables, different bars. Bought a table to see the band and loved the experience but could have enjoyed the music as a regular in other parts of the bar which was cool also. Drink are DIRT cheap, food menu was vast far a bar, served food all night. Stage had enough room for dancing and sitting. Bartender and servers were great, enough bathrooms for the evening, loved every minute of it. Will return for sure.

A little smoky for my taste. Service was great was there for a tribute band that was awesome. Didn’t have dinner there so I cannot comment on the food. Great place to hang out if you don’t mind the smoke. Would have giving it a higher rating if it wasn’t for that.
