“Had the opportunity to try Crown's at a School event over the past weekend in Grand Prairie..the ONLY reason I can't give them 5 stars is not because of THEM is because of the LINE itself..people kept on adding-on to their order AFTER they placed the original one and it basically took longer than it should. “These are the best tacos in the metroplex. These are the best quesadillas in the metroplex. I have eaten at every Mexican food place you have and then some. These tacos are better than those tacos. The green sauce is the best green sauce. The red sauce will melt your face and you’ll beg for more. Do yourself a favor and eat here. I recommend the Al pastor tacos and the chicharrone tacos. The cabeza tacos are also good, but Al pastor is best in my humble opinion. We had asada torta and it was good, beans and rice were good I wouldn't say the best I've had but they were good. My son had the asada burrito and he enjoyed it. “The BBQ gods smiles on this day. We were driving and looking for a new place to try. I saw this place and even though it is a trailer on the side of the road the smell called to us. We tried the brisket, pork belly, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, brisket-biscut, and peach cobbler. Lets start with the negative. the baked beans were OK, but nothing i would do agian. I had high hopes for the potato salad and was a little let down but it was ok. the place is a little hard to find and there are no tables. However, that did not stop us from eating in our car since we were just traveling through. but if you are doing take-out you most likely don't care. With that out of the way . . . . . . . WOW. The brisket was outstanding juicy, moist, great color, good smoke ring, not super fatty but a good crust on the outside. the rub had a good spice but did not overpower the meat. The ribs were just as good, not "fall of the bone" but you don[t want that, you want a little bit of chew to the meat. They had a good smoke ring and great flavor. The brisket-biscut was crispy cloud stuffed with love. I am glad we only got one to try with our group because they are addicting. he peach cobbler was very good. not super sweet but a nice flavor. I saved the best for last. If you have never had smoked pork belly then you have no idea what you are missing this was outstanding with flavor that is making my mouth water as I type this. If I am am ever back in this area agian I am making a point to come back to this spot.“

“We were sitting outside this evening when I kept thinking I was hearing an ice cream truck song. We'd had a rough day and I'd failed to get my toddler a treat earlier as promised so it felt like sweet redemption. I grabbed our stuff and rushed out the door and we wandered down a few blocks following the sound. It felt so nostalgic already. I was so surprised when we turned a corner and it was a real ice cream truck selling real custard ice cream. I just got a rainbow sprinkle dip for my toddler. I really messed up not getting some for myself because the rich velvety eggy custard cream was the real deal and even the sugar sprinkles were the real deal and tasted like frosting. If I ever see this truck again I'm *running* ? it was such a nostalgic magical experience for both me and my toddler.“

“When I do to the Flea Market on Mansfield Highway, we always stop at this taco stop. The owner will literally be making sure everybody has additional napkins and or drinks. They have additional personal out, kinda like waiters but Mexican style where they just want to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal without feeling the obligation of having to accept them it just makes you feel like you're at a family reunions where you have your granny and aunt just always making sure you have the warmest tortillas and everything you need.
