Tricky finding the entrance between the pub and tattoo shop I believe. Got a strawberry shake nothing fancy. My only problem was it didn't make it home ?. That thing was delicious and they were packed when we walked in line was quick.

First time trying this place, the ice cream was phenomenal, I had a cookie sundae which was amazing. The young man helping us was great although a little flustered.My reason for leaving 2 stars, the young man was the only person attending customers. He was serving 2 people when my wife and I walked in. The phone was ringing consistently and he couldn’t take it. It got to a point where he had to take the phone to the lady in the back of the store to answer it just to serve the people inside. She then brought the phone back up and went back. At the point of us ordering, 2 more guys walked in, followed by a family of 4-5 people. Definitely a full house and yet he received no help from the lady in the back. She even peaked through the door & proceed to just turn up the music and stay in the back. Within 10-15 minutes this young man went from serving 2 people, to 10+ and didn’t receive help whatsoever. I hope he gets recognized for still being friendly and caring to everyone’s needs.

I came to this hidden gem and I tried the cornbread ice cream and till right now I haven't tried an ice cream like this one, it was mind blowing and addictive.. I just wish y'all could have it more often..

Why 4 stars? Because they were not shy with the portions! --- --- --- I bookmarked Cool Cow years ago and finally had the opportunity to visit after eating lunch nearby. I saw on their website a list of like 100+ flavors, but assumed they only had a fraction of those actually available in the store. My assumption was correct, as there were about 10-12 flavors available. I was hoping for some that were not in the case, but I was definitely intrigued by the Christmas Tree Cake and couldn't resist throwing a scoop of that on a cone. And then to counteract something a bit crazier, I added a scoop of ol' reliable coconut. I really liked both of them. I'd stop short of saying I loved either, but I'm a sucker for ice cream and am never mad when I can sit down with a couple of massive scoops while my son makes a huge mess of his face attempting to eat his own. That's what happened at Cool Cow and I'm glad I was finally able to visit.

I may have already given this place a review. If not, here it is. The ice cream is made by them, and it changes every time you go in. The very best was a blueberry pie ice cream that we keep going back in hopes of finding a second time. The people that work there are very friendly and they always offer a sample taste if you don't know quite what you want. The store itself is small and tucked away, so you have to park out on the street near the Kemah docks area and follow the sign back into a little courtyard. Get the ice cream and sit in a pagoda in the courtyard to enjoy it!
