Had not been to this location for some time and stopped in for a quick little pizza. It is located directly on Sidney Baker in a small shopping center in front of the HEB. I was waited on quickly and the pizza was made as ordered (ham, bacon, spinach and olives). The spinach was not as fresh as it could be and the bacon wasn’t great either but otherwise the pizza was fine. The employee was nice and the place was mostly clean. Prices are higher than I remember but that is true for almost everything now. We revisited a few months later and there was a wait to order and only two employees. By the time we were able to order, there was a line behind us. They were working as fast as they could but seemed new as they kept referring to a menu to prepare the sandwiches. The menu has new items and choices. We were going to do a BOGO offer for foot long sandwiches but when we showed the email to the employee we were told it was only online orders or through the app. This was very disappointing and we really don’t understand why it couldn’t be used in store. The food was prepared as requested but nothing that made us want to return. Subway is NOT what it was years ago and doubt we will return.

Music too loud, and just awful. Loud Rock/Metal/New World/Grunge...I don't know. But it was causing me to have a panic attack that I had to work through. Don't they realize this is Kerrville, and there are a lot of older people coming through for subs, and families with small children, also? No way would I subject my child to that music. And, WHERE WAS THE MANAGER?? Or is the manager just as despicable also? One woman employee was sweeping the floor when I walked inside and as I was reading the menu she exclaimed to the other employees..."Oh, no....He's coming " and made a sound of disgust. I though they were talking about their manager or something. . I looked outside and saw a young man with dark hair come in and just order a sandwich, etc. Nothing happened. Whatever the problem was that they had in the past with this individual, it should not have been shouted inside the restaurant while myself and another patrons were there to order food.

Best damn Cobb salad I've ever had...I never leave reviews but this salad deserves recognition

This place is an amazing hidden gem. There new location at 1168 Sidney Baker is so quaint. The food is awesome. I have been looking for a good salad in Kerrville all Summer. Let me tell you, this is my new favorite cafe. The staff is friendly. I suggest the shrimp feta watermelon salad. Give this cafe a try. You will not regret it.

Lund it to be a bit dirty looking. Staff were too busy visiting with each other. Have gotten good sandwiches here before but it was lacking this time.

Wow, what a gem! So happy I decided to come to Chichos Cafe. I'm just passing through, and love to find great local/small town restaurants. Had the ribeye (mashed potatoes and beautifully fresh and bright green beans!) and it was perfectly done. Was super surprised by the salad/soup bar....probably the best grape tomatoes I've ever had, tasted like they came from someone's backyard. AND - its BYOB with only a $5 corkage fee. Wish I was in town for longer, I would love to come back! Everyone here - including the other patrons (who seemed to know each other, so would assume are locals) were super friendly and made me feel at home...even if I was dining alone!

The food the first time we went was AMAZING (alfredo with steak). I was so impressed I went back a second time and ordered the same meal, but it wasn't quite as good! Still good though just not as great as the f! 3 stars due to service, both times we weren't told about the salad bar- the first time we were told as our food was coming out and the second time I had to ask if we got salad.

Kerrville, TX Awesome place for lunch! We were headed somewhere else and decided to stop in. So glad we did! I had half of the chicken salad sandwich and the cream of ham soup. The chicken was all white meat and it was very juicy. My husband had the Reuben Sandwich and he said it was the best he has ever had. Great atmosphere and the staff was very nice.

This place was really yummy it's quite always off the I-10 but it didn't really bother us. We were able to sit outside under the big tree because we had our Yorkie with us and they didn't let us keep her in the patio. Even though we were outside our server didn't forget about us she brought out our refills and food promptly. I had the chicken Diablo burger and it was very tasty not spicy at all but I can habaneros and ghost peppers. My hubby had avocado BLT and he really loved it! The bacon was cooked super crispy so if you don't like that you must request soft, we love it either way! They get 5 stars on food and service But they need to be more pet friendly. It was so hot I couldn't leave her in the car.

This review is not for the food but for how frustrating it is trying to eat here. We tried two days in a row, the hours on Yelp and Google say they are open....yet we are here and it is not open. No sign or any information as to why it is closed. Frustrating:( we were excited to check this place out.

My parents and I just stopped in here and had a delicious lunch. The salad bar is epic, the soup which was the beef vegetable was excellent and my parents had the lunch specials of the beef chimichanga which was excellent. Very good restaurant strongly recommend you stop in here. Also they have a beautiful location overlooking the river.

For me, there's nothing better than a great burger with a beer, but Chicho's can only offer half of that tasty combo. They don't offer any alcoholic beverages. Actually, the day we were there they were out of lemonade too. My Wes Burger and fries were excellent and my wife reports that the BLT with avocado and homemade chips were great too, though she didn't offer to share. Service was very good and the atmosphere is stunning with the river on one side and Stonehenge II on the other. While Chicho's has some room to improve, we'll definitely be back.

If you are in Ingram, Texas visiting Stonehenge II be sure to have lunch at Chi-Chos. We sat on the deck under a beautiful tree, breeze blowing and a grand view of the river. It was peaceful and soothing. The pulled pork tacos were fabulous. My meal came with either soup or salad and I chose the salad bar. While the salad bar was not overly huge it had a wide variety of quality selections that made for a great salad. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and he enjoyed it. The interior of the establishment had an element of comfort and the tables were nicely spaced apart. I would recommend a window table as you don't want to miss out on the view.

We chose this restaurant for our Ladies Lunch today (about 20 of us) and everyone enjoyed it so much they have decided to return next month. Good food and service! Everything was fresh and the specials (today it was pulled pork tostados) are superb. I would recommend the pulled pork in any of their dishes, but everything ordered looked wonderful. Not sure if they have wine or beer, but will find out next time as that was a question my husband immediately inquired about--especially draught beer! Would definitely recommend this for a place to go.
