As we scootered around town on a Sunday afternoon in Kerrville, we were looking for a new place to check out and many places were closed. Out pops a friendly gal who invites into the place and said we should try it! So we did. I have to say this was one of the friendliest places around. We got to chatting a while and ordered a couple of drinks and an order of oysters Rockefeller. The drinks needed help as it was a little out of the ordinary to order an old fashion in a Cajun restaurant. We opted to have the old fashion made into a bourbon on the rocks. The oysters were great!! The people were great! They had pool tables so I would go back to shoot a game when there isn’t a tournament going on!! Fun place, check it out sometime!

Anyone that is town needs to stop by Babez seafood bucket and have the best seafood in town no doubt

New restaurant in town. We came here because we won a gift certificate for a shrimp boil bucket. When we arrived (to a mostly empty place) they had already raised the price of this bucket by $5. And They charged us the extra $5. We ordered gumbo (they were out of about half the soups on the menu) which had two TINY bites of seafood in it. Many many items, including this gumbo, had NO prices on the menu. The shrimp boil was average. Shrimp were very hard to peel. Should’ve been served in a much smaller bucket. There was no alcohol, as they were waiting on their liquor license. Atmosphere was not great—pool tables. The waitress was very good.

We got a little bucket of crawfish and shrimp and it was something like eighty bucks! Maybe it's because we're from South Louisiana, but this seems high for what we got.

I had Fried Shrimp and cold slaw.It was very good. The people were very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Had dinner at Babez last night and was so impressed by the service we received, as well as, the excellent food. We had the Shrimp Basket special - shrimp were large and very tasty. But those FRIES! Best fries I have ever had - you have to try them to understand. ;-)
