You go here for the atmosphere, not the food.Driving from Alabama to Kerrville for 2024 Eclipse. We were really looking forward to some tasty Mexican food. This was not the place to find some.Bland and everything tasted the same. Cheese without wny flavor.Sorry to be this way, just the truth.West of San Antonio, how can you not offer spicy Mexican ?Wife only took three bites and gave up.$42 for this not including tip.We are here for a week, so have a few times to try other places.Maybe Thai tomorrow.

Delicious, authentic Mexican!Atmosphere was very nice.Liked the 80's music playing in the background. You have choice of sitting inside or out on patio area.Our dinner was priced right also!
Wow!! First off the music selection we heard was olds 80's...thank you. It was great to reminisce while sipping on our delicious margaritas. The chips are fried fresh and salsa was tasty. Best charro beans ever!!Best Mexican food we've had in a while. Our server was super nice and smiled the whole time. We'll be back!

Not very friendly. Our server should have stayed home. He spent all of his time sniffling.I nearly fell on uneven concrete as I left the building, but no one seemed to care.We will not return.

I really enjoy El Sol. The food is good, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. I especially like the puffy tacos which always taste fresh and are never greasy.
As we told the owner, this restaurant was a complete surprise (being our first time to visit) and we will definitely be back! The food is very authentic according to my Mexican wife and delicious..

Delicious, family owned and operated small business.Favorites: Deluxe Burger and Carne Guisada. The salsa and chips are made fresh in house. The guacamole here is very good also.Plan to try the street tacos next time!Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu. My kids love the burgers here. Huge and fresh

The food and margaritas were good. The service was good. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening sunset.The only problem was the person in charge "lost" husband's credit card. He put the folder on a bush while he was showing off his truck. Miraculously found the card on the ground behind the bush.It was just weird.
