Was good. This is a family owned restaurant and they were super sweet. Food was good and service was great. I would recommend that they get a soda fountain machine instead of using 2 liter bottles.

Coke was flat, steak taste like fish, and queso and salsa was watered down, tortillas were raw or just greasy not sure.I’ve heard good things about this place and hope it was just a tough night and not always like this.

Stopped in for lunch close to 1pm. Have lots of lunch specials to choose from. I asked if they had charro beans and told no, not a big deal, then got charro beans with meal. Don't know what that was about. Beans weren't done but flavor was good. Enchiladas luke warm like they'd been sitting out. Took less than 5 minutes to get food once ordered. Quesadilla fajita beef was tasty but cheese was room temp like already made and sitting out. All in all decent place just think we caught them at bad time. Way better than a lot of other Mexican restaurants in Kilgore.

Food was very good. Waitress was very nice and friendly.
Tried this place with my brother and we both loved how delicious the food was! The waitress was super nice. We stayed awhile going over paperwork and they did not seem to mind at all. Definitely will be back!!! The horchata was really good too!

Well, y'all... if you know you know I can't lie, and as nice as the lady was, there is just no excuse for how bad the experience was.My coworker and I were visiting this little town, reviews restaurants on Yelp and chose this place.I don't know where the previous reviewers were getting their food, but if it's here, there must have been some grace changes.First clue this was not going to be a good experience, the chips were stale. Not normal stale, but like they knew they were stale and reheated them anyways. It was sad, because the chips were nice and thick and the salsa was pretty good.I had the Ribeye and shrimp.The ribeye was so skinny, the rice was dry, and the ranchero beans were SOUR, but the lettuce and avocado were great. We did ask for more chips with hesitancy from our waitress, but the consistent bad foods were intolerable.They do not have butter, they have some margarine(ish) yellow oil in a squeeze bottle. (So gross!)The other dish was chicken fajitas. Chicken was hot and fresh, but dry as leather (tasted like it was frozen and not fresh) and on a bed of onions. And two baby strips of bell pepper.Oh and my co workers' salsa had a few pieces of fiber or hair... it was at the end of her bowl. NOT surprisingly, we could not eat all the food, and we both were sick after eating there. Location was convenient, but I honestly can not say that either of us will go back.I despise writing bad reviews, esp. when you know people are out there trying to keep their business up and running, but honest reviews are necessary.

Authentic Mexican, great variety and some dishes many restaurants do not offer. Worth the trip, easy parking and handicap accessible, kid friendly. Wish I lived closer!
