I was first greeted by Jackie who was standoffish and no smile. I didn’t feel welcomed. I decided to proceed with my order anyway. When I asked if I could combine toppings on the breakfast pizza, Jackie said “NO” unequivocally but then changed her mind as if she was doing me a favor. All I wanted to add was bacon. She asked me how I wanted my eggs. I said scrambled. I got over easy. When I accidentally left my debit card in the reader, Jackie scolded me and told me “don’t leave my credit card in the machine.” So sorry. The breakfast pizza was good, and the other staff were nice and smiled. The bathroom was clean. My impression is that Jackie thought a little highly of herself at the “Zen” Kitchen and treated me like I should have been honored to be there. It’s Kilgore, Texas, Jackie. Not Fifith Avenue where, honestly, they were nicer. And they spelled my name correctly. Not “Petter.” ?

My husband has been here once and was dying to take me we finally made it out together and it was so great the pastrys were so yummy the coffee was excellent a bit pricey but all in all it balances out,has a great atmosphere and the bathrooms are clean as F.

I cannot begin to express how awesome this place is!! The pizza in the brick oven makes such a difference!! Casey has such an amazing talent for making delicious recipes and putting it in pizza form!! The freshest of ingredients and she even has Vegan friendly pizza options AND gluten free baked goods!! If you haven’t been you sure should give it a try!!

Get bigger cups for to-go orders, please! 2.50 for a TINY cup is ridiculous! “But you get free refills” doesn’t help a person who ordered it to go. The food and coffee are spectacular, but this drink is crazy.

What a lovely little gem! Our group had the pumpkin bacon pizza with gluten-free crust, the Cuban, and the chicken salad sandwich all of which were of the upmost quality! Flavor, texture, and price were all perfect! We took some dessert to go and they were delicious too! Would absolutely recommendDietary restrictions: Gluten-free options

We recently had a turtle cheesecake from here at a party. Since then I have been impatiently waiting to try it. The cocktails were good and they also had specials. The waitress explaining the menu was slightly confusing and didn't know what the wing flavors were she just knew the list. The original was a house seasoning, but they also had original spicy. We ordered some wings and a chile relleno and chorizo pizza. When I think of Chile relleno I think of poblano peppers, but this was bell peppers - red, orange and yellow, which made the pizza slightly sweet and I did not like it at all. We did sit at the bar and we were never checked on by the waitress. I will return to try the pastries and coffee though.
