Unexpectedly found this five star matcha latte! Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! We stopped in at the Killeen Mall prior to the 2024 eclipse and stumbled upon Coffee Beanery as shops were starting to put up 'be right back' signs to go watch the eclipse. The cafe was small but super nice with a more urban atmosphere, and the baristas were absolutely great. I ordered a small iced Matcha Latte and really wished I'd ordered a large. I'd admittedly expected an average quality latte at best with all of the lackluster coffee shop matcha lattes I've been trying recently, but my expectations were blown out of the water. They used a higher grade matcha and used the perfect amount in this Latte so you could taste the earthy flavor and savor it in every sip. It wasn't as smooth as some of the other five star lattes I've had m, but it was mixed, balanced, and crafted perfectly. They absolutely did this Latte right. It was rich, it was creamy, it was divine. If you're near the Killeen Mall you should absolutely stop in to give this café a try. I'm sad I'll have to travel out of city again to visit Coffee Beanery, but I'm so glad I got to experience it in the first place!

I'm still trying to find out if you really *can* enjoy a high quality black coffee from a shop without brewing it yourself. I've had plenty of opportunities to taste, but never many that I enjoy.The "grown-up" grilled cheese preaches to my nostalgia. But I had a much better experience with stale wonder bread, vegetable oil, and dry great value cheddar cheese than I did here. Their sandwich had clumps dry hard cheese in between bites, and more bread than I appreciate. The only saving grace is that I'm a total cheese head.The coffee is just okay. It's very difficult to be delicate with coffee, so I understand. I'm just disappointed.The service is great, and I'd definitely come back if I wanted coffee added with my milkshake.

The moca / white moca frap is amazing! ? White chocolate chip cookies ? ? are yummy!4/5 stars though because the fresh brew coffee ☕️ tasted very old . I normally don't get this but I like to critique reviews to make sure it wasn't just an individual experience.

We visited the Coffee Beanery in Killeen, Texas last night. This is a beautiful coffee shop located inside of the shopping mall. Great customer service. We got a Spiced Vanilla Chai and a Pumpkin Spice praline Cappuccino. The Cappuccino drink was overly sweet and watered down with very little taste of coffee. The Vanilla Chai was very sweet as well with very little taste. We should have taken them back to the Staff. May try The Coffee Beanery again next time we’re in town. Hoping this visit was just a fluke.Parking: Located in a major shopping mall center so ample parking is available.

I disagree with any negative comments , this is far one of the best coffee shops I’ve been too 100%!!! Better than Starbucks. Always with such good service , Manager Angelica always makes sure we are happy and satisfied with our order always looking towards to see her there and her staff.!

It was extremely hot in the shop to sit and enjoy my break. For the employees, omg… I couldn’t sit in there for 5 minutes without sweating I feel bad for the people working. It’s not ok for them to be working in this heat condition, it’s illegal and so unsafe, hopefully they get it fixed soon so everyone can enjoy their stay in there!
Coffee, food and employees are great! But last few times I felt like there was no A/C or good ventilation. It gets really hot in there.

I love this place but the manager Angelica I believe is her name In Killeen mall she is rude and make a stupid comment when I ask for a cup of water ohh we charge for the water like if I don’t have the $$ for a coffee and water

Coffee drinks and food are fair. Its a touch pricey but its good. The teens/young adults who work the counter are great. They work HARD, and have great customer service. My reasoning for 2 stars is because it is way too hot in the shop to actually enjoy being in there. There is a huge temperature difference between the mall and the shop. You break a sweat just standing in line. I cant imagine how the staff feels while on shift...
