This is an update March 2024. Get rid of disgruntled and unprofessional employees. You have a guy taking orders that has no business in customer service. Taking orders wrong and getting upset when trying to repeat and cursing at customers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Out of necessity (18 hour work days) I order on Tuesdays. The burgers are colder than the onions. And it happens often. The server did make it right and was polite and professional.
This Sonic is close by so we used to stop by often. Lately I would choose driving a little further over convenience. I had to pull into 4 different screens before I found one to work. I finally found a screen that was not malfunctioning, placed my order and the screen went blank after I selected my payment. The ice cream machine was done. I still have four stars because the price, service and food were all great. Food came out fast, hot and yummy. My little one loves the bacon breakfast burrito. Our food runner was very pleasant.

The atmosphere was great only because it was with my family and we were having a great time.We had milkshakes, and while good, they weren't mixed thoroughly.Service, the cc reader was broke, and instead of saying something when she delivered our shakes, she hinted around about it. I finally figured out why she was still there and told my husband.

Me and the grandkids stopped for lunch and instead of eating in my new car, I wanted to eat on the picnic table that was there until I saw that there were nails sticking out of it and it was about to fall over. Food was actually pretty disgusting. My pickle fries were barely cooked so the breading was falling off and the chili Fritos wrap was all wrap.

Ordered large red bull blood orange slush and a large peach slush, first problem was I was given a normal slush with flavor added and not the red bull slush, we easy got that fixed however it tasted like they dumped a bucket of flavor syrup into our drinks. There was so little ice and nothing but syrup flavoring it was sticky and we had to pull into the gas station next door to toss the drinks we won't be ordering here for a while after this.
Went to the sonic asking for an ice cream slushy, mind you all the other Sonic’s in Killeen ring it up just fine. Was told that they don’t do cream slushies, just regular. How y’all don’t do it but every other sonic in Killeen does?

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Employees outside smoking weed, and cussing so loudly for me to hear. I don't mind cussing, but good lord, keep it out of customer's ear. It's called professionalism. This location is absolutely unacceptable. Everyone can see them smoking weed and it smells absolutely disgusting. Employees chasing each other, and giving dirty looks.
I got food poisoning from here last night, I have not been able to keep even water down since eating here.

Edited update: Sonic on WS Young is usually pretty good with orders today was the worst. ??♀️I had a mobile order and was missing a chicken slinger plain with bacon and cheese. I go back to get it and it took them 15 mins to bring out the WRONG item. It was some kind of chicken sandwich with lettuce, mayo, and pickle all over it. I asked for another one and they brought out the exact same sandwich. (Wasn't remade fresh) I even told the female server ( young black girl with the afro and braces) what I wanted and gave her the receipt. She still brought out the wrong sandwich. It wasn't until the male server with the dreads and gold teeth ( I didn't catch any of their names) came and with excellent service and the right sandwich made fresh. ????Well done sir. Thank you.I always get the same thing every Sunday. And it's usually made perfectly.
