Omgosh! This food is delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was fresh, great flavor and reasonable in price. They serve you enough to get plenty full. It's a very quaint, quiet, clean and nice place to enjoy your Mexican food! ??

Well hello everyone it has been a very long time since I posted a review, but I just could not pass up the opportunity to compare the Menudo from these Mexican Restaurants.Today I went to Taqueria Mexico Lindo # 1 for some menudo for the very first time. I am used to buying menudo with large chunks of meat that is extremely flavorful. However, when I went to Taqueria Mexico Lindo I ordered (2) two large menudo' with extra meat and I was charged extra for the meat. But when I received my order and got back home, the meat was cut into very small pieces and the menudo had absolutely no flavor. It looked like water with menudo in it. So I went to the Taqueria restaurant on West Stan Schlueter Loop and ordered a very flavorful menudo with large chunks of meat. The only problem that I have with the Taqueria restaurant on West Stan Schlueter is that they charge you extra if you pay with your debit or credit card, but they will not give you this information when you order at the window and they will not give you your total when you place your order at the window. I will do a separate review on them because I think that everyone should know what is going on with these restaurants. Now with all that said, I am going to post two pictures of the menudo that I purchased from both restaurants. The first photo is the one from Taqueria Mexico Lindo #1 and the second photo is from the Taqueria Restaurant on West Stan Schlueter Loop. You can clearly see the vast differences.

We just moved in and this taco joint is close to our neighborhood. We've had the breakfast tacos, they're really good. The sign out front is false advertising though, the 12 pack of tacos is no longer 9.99. They need to either just take down or replace the sign. Other than that, I've had a good experience with them and friendly service. Will need to go back and try their lunch tacos!

My favorite meal is the TORTA, I always get the Barbacoa with opinions and cilantro. To day it had mayo, lettuce, onion, cilantro and avocado...my coworker were almost circling like sharks ?. It was fabulous!!!

My company orders from Taqueria #1 REGULARLY. literally $100 or more monthly for staff. Today they messed our order up due to lack of communication and understanding ON THEIR END, and their response to the issue was oh well sorry. We can’t do anything for you. Today we just ended that 3 year relationship. Customer Service goes a long away and this was supposedly the manger who handled the interaction. Lack of responsibility for their issue and not caring that the staff only had 30 min of lunch was unacceptable and unappreciated.

Two ladies inside laughing and talking very loudly while my wife and I ate, was so unprofessional! My wife asked for some pico de gallo and they brought out some smelly old stuff that appeared to have been not fresh! Paid over $30 for two plates and bad service. Do not waste your time going here.
Best Mexican food I have had in the city of Killeen! The food was delicious, good service, restaurant and restrooms were very clean, easy access to building and up front parking. If you want authentic Mexican this is your place!

Taqueria Mexico Lindo #1 is a great place to get mexican food in Killeen (not that there isn't a lacking of a good one), but it's location makes it a prime spot for a fun lunch with your friends. I do have to say, the only gripe i have is the music they choose to blast in the restaurant, it is more akin to late night reggaetón club music than anything that you would really eat to. Despite this, good company will help drown it out. So bring your friends and have a great time.

Food I ate there today was not great. I ordered a tostada, and the guacamole taste as if it was going bad and the ground beef taste like it was made in tomato sauce. This is not something I wanted to taste on a tostada no spanish flavor. The waiter was nice and one more thing the food is a little high price for the quality.
