Went to Kingwood Taco shop and found the tacos were made on fresh made corn or flour tortillas and were as big as a burrito. The fillings were delicious and the owner very friendly. Scriptures on the walls and I am pretty sure you could get baptized there! Wonderful experience!

I am very picky when it comes down to tacos. I have tried a numerous amount of taco places and I was never satisfied. I must say this will be my go to place to come eat tacos, it was really satisfying! && the flour tortillas are homemade and that is a plus!!!!!!

I have been coming here for many years and coming from the city of Houston to good tacos and coming to live in Kingwood really upset me since there was not a great place nearby truly for tacos.Thank you for existing in the kingwood area ♥️On top of it, home made tortillas and decent size tacos make everything better!

Great spot. Homemade tortillas are INCREDIBLE. Little bit of everything from bacon egg and cheese breakfast tacos to traditional Mexican classics like pazole and menudo. Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean. I will be back ??

Everything I've eaten here is authentic and delicious!! And the prices are reasonable. The tortillas are homemade!! Order the tamales in advance and enjoy!The atmosphere is just the best! It's a great place for families, for having a meeting, or working at your laptop. The sports paraphernalia and the Christian scriptures are all so positive and encouraging.Service is top-notch! Always wanting you to be comfortable and enjoy your meal. They bend over backwards to tend to you.

Holy smokes I just want to LIVE in these tacos! The owner Greg is my husband’s uncle. I went years ago when they first opened and was blown away. But I am ashamed and embarrassed for my taste buds that it took me so long to return. We live about an hour or more away unfortunately. Yesterday my husband and I went back to pick up our 10yo son from sleeping over with his Uncle Greg. The food…ugh CHEFS KISS! Just amazing. So authentic, just awakens every one of my senses. All of the staff were kind and really enjoy what they do. My son has been wanting to be a chef and Uncle Greg let him help out at the restaurant! He had an amazing experience, ate the amazing food and really loved helping the Kingwood community. The place was busy and everyone knew Greg! He really connects with his customers and community at Kingwood Taco Shop! My only regret is that I can’t eat there everyday. I wish we didn’t live so far away. Even though we are family, I felt like I was a family member to each amazing worker AND the other customers coming and going. Let all these amazing Google reviews do the talking. It’s worth a trip no matter how close or far away your coming from!

Years later, still the best tacos in the Kingwood area. I highly recommend the carne guisada and chicharron. Friendly staff, excellent food, and get there early in the AM for barbacoa... they sell out quickly.
