Closes too effing early! Its pretty good for a neighborhood bar but the strength to price ratio for the drinks is sub par.Best to avoid if it's busy, it gets so loud it's hard to hear the person sitting next to you. A lot of people from out of town staying at the hotel next door get REALLY drunk here so prepare yourself for that.
Great place to come and unwind after a day of work or even just exploring the town. The food is really good and the hospitality and atmosphere are great as well. Definitely a local bar/pub to enjoy.

Used to live in the neighborhood and went often, but food is always good, drink are fairly priced. Nice atmosphere and you can tell it's owned by locals who love La Porte. Will continue pop in if I'm in the area.-Bonus note, if you order the nachos with chicken and chorizo... Switch chips to fries ?
