“Super cool, fun atmosphere. Pizza was wonderful, and reasonably priced considering the cost of dining on and around the island. This is my first time visiting SPI and Port Isabel and I will definitely be back to this little gem! Bartender “Slim” was awesome and a pleasure to meet, so friendly and welcoming. Give that man a raise! “We shared nachos and they were okay! The music was very loud so you can’t hear each other talk, or the server, but the band was good and entertaining though! Not enough parking for sure! Every spot was full so we parked at the closed down business next door and when we walked in, there were still several open tables! Unfortunately, you can’t park at the closed down business next door, so our car got towed while we were there! Cost us $300 to get it back! I get it, that’s not the bars fault, but if they had enough parking in the first place, that might not have happened…Honestly, I’ll probably still go back, after I get rid of this soar @$$…. It was a good atmosphere!“

“South Padre is beautiful and so good to us. Laguna Bob had the BEST burgers! They use a white cheese that pairs perfectly with the burger. The fries were A1 and we tried some of the drinks. Delicious! Thank you to the service because they are awesome. Everyone was very kind and the food came out quickly. The view was spectacular. I actually almost cried. My only regret was not finding this place sooner ? Laguna Bob is definitely going to be a place we regularly stop to eat at when we return to South Padre!!! ❤️“

“The food was delicious we were very surprised how good our fish & shrimp baskets was kids ended up with pizza it was a bit cheesy for them overall they loved it. Before we left my son ended up ordering a grill shrimp basket for himself.“

“We were actually pleasantly surprised here!! We all liked all of our meals. Good deal for the price and the service was great. We got house large margaritas - a steal for 8 bucks. I got the steak and shrimp special for $28 which came with NY strip and a skewer of shrimp. The shrimp in SPI def have a fishier taste but prepared really well and the steak was a good cut! Had sweet potato fries for a side which were good and a salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Would order all again. My sister enjoyed her blackened catfish and my mom has the same meal as me. Both enjoyed them as well! For dessert we shared the lemon blueberry cheesecake which was delicious!“

“Of all the places that in Texas that I’ve never found, this place is the epitome of Texas. So many great people, so many great bartenders. This place is a gem. Don’t come here in the winter. The BEST time to come here is in the summer.“

“Very pleasant experience there. They just opened up their kitchen again last week, and had a few great vegan options! Kinda and courteous staff! Treated us very well, and food was SPICY!Dietary restrictions: Good option for those on a plant based or vegetarian diet. Their kitchen will expand over time. Food is spicy!“

“Since my husband is a veteran, we went there for Veterans day. There were a lot of people and they were smoking Nilgai outside with a pot luck dinner. First time we ever tried it and loved it. They only serve beer and wine there, but I heard they do setups if you bring your own booze - not sure on that though. Everyone was very welcoming.“
