All portions were sized for 3 or more in my opinion.I appreciate the staff taking time to prepare this & more for an out of Towner who showed up between normal serving hours on a Sunday afternoonWork hours this week seem shorter with special brown bag lunches of sampled lightly oiled Spring Rolls that don't require dipping sauce other dishes I'm saving for later.
Food came out pretty quick. It was pretty good and very well priced, and the portions were pretty big too. Definitely will be back later!

Long month with out of state family here. Punted tonight and ordered Chinese vs making dinner. Normally I choose the focus on my guests, but I wanted Chinese tonight and the General Tso Chicken left me beside myself. We have been here 2.5 years and looking for good local food. I aksed for extra spicy and yet flavorful. Let's just say in the words of my wife, they "shut me up a moment!" Probably one of the best General Tso I have had. Yes the dumplings were good. The other dishes they seemed to like. But have to say I will be ordering again!

So I ordered food for Rice Pot Express in Hickory Creek. I ordered pepersteak with broccoli. I picked up the food, and when I got home I found they gave me beef and mushroom. I called and told them the error and their response was oh im sorry but there is nothing we can do about that. Unbelievable. I asked to speak to the manager and they said there wasn’t one there at the time. Unreal. Lost my business.

Visiting from Houston for my son’s football tournament and we decided to stop here. Good is really good, fresh, and good portions for the price. It took 10 min to receive the order and the place is clean. Houston has a few good spots to get rice and egg rolls but I wish we had this place close to us lol. I recommend it.

After having been away from the DFW area for two years, I looked forward to eating my favorite lunch at the Rice Pot Express. They undoubtedly have the best hot and sour soup around. All lunch specials are great and very well priced. Highly recommended.
