This is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants in Austin. All of the rolls are so fresh and flavorful (craving that 620 roll as I write this)and the Ramen bowls are amazing as well. The staff is always warm, welcoming and attentive. They also have live music on Saturdays which is a nice touch and made my daughter’s birthday celebration and song extra special a couple weeks ago! Our favorite restaurant in the bee cave/Lakeway area.

Deleted my last review but they still can't fix their problems. They are literally never on time and will say your order is 5 minutes away and then it's really 45 minutes. This is almost a daily occurrence this point.huge waste of time and staff is flippant and unprofessional about it

The food is great! Happy hour specials are a great deal. And Sunday has happy hour all day! The spicy items are actually spicy. Just don’t order the old fashioned—it’s watery.
I ordered take out. The Miso-Hot ramen is so freakin good. I don’t LOVE some of the toppings that come with the ramen but they’re easy to pick out if you don’t want them. The gyoza are also delicious.

Lacked the charm common among standard sushi restaurants. Noticed fruit flies at our table. Sushi rolls seemed less than stellar for the price. Presentation was nothing special. They use the Toast for checkout and don’t show receipt so you’re probably getting over charged. I felt like for what I paid and what I received was not as good a value.

Been many places for sushi and spent a lot of money on "the best" and as crazy as it sounds this is one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to. Not sure how they do it, but the quality and portions beat them all. I still scratch my head as to how. It beats uchi, ra, sushi ren, kata robata, mf sushi, etc. can't say I've found better for the price.

Do not eat here ever i was there recently and noticed an employee walking on the prep counters in the kitchen with his dirty disgusting shoes he walks everywhere with, multiple employees were there and no one seemed to care and continued prepping food immediately right after he walked all over with, I am personally very grossed out and Will never eat there ever again I suggest you all do the same because if they didn’t seem to care about that simple health protocol then imagine what else goes on there that we aren’t aware of, super dirty rude disgusting place do yourself a favor don’t eat here and get sick

I was there recently because I wanted to try something new and I thought about giving them a try but to my horror I noticed the staff jump up on the prepping counters walk all over back and forth with his dirty disgusting shoes he walks all over with, to my surprise the staff without a care continued to prep food that we eat on the counter immediately after the staff walked on the counters and contaminated with who knows what, it looked to me that they didn't even care and weren't really aware of the severity of the situation, very unsanitary and a health violation, I will personally never eat there ever again and will let all my friends and relatives know as well, do yourselves a favor pass on this establishment Do Not Eat here, do not get sick eating here because if they don't care or noticed this simple proper food handling step then just imagine what else goes on there, I just threw up a little just thinking about how gross and disgusting it is there, run away from here don't ever go back and make sure you inform all your closest friends and relatives but maybe recommend it to people you don't really like

Love that there's another ramen sushi place in Lakeway and thankful for BlueFin to also be on UberEats. We tried Bluefin for 3 times this year, food quality-wise both dine in and take out experiences were similar. For our first try I wanted to dine in but because there was a huge discount on UberEats, I couldn't let that chance pass by. I ordered Chirashi for us adults to see if they have fresh fish, then ordered yuzi ramen with extra pork belly and extra broth for the kids. Chirashi was average, ramen was good and filling. I chose to dine in for a quick lunch date for my second try and this time I went off a nigiri lunch special and my husband ordered another type of ramen. At this point I'm convinced they have better cooked food than nigiri. Don't get me wrong, the rolls are fine, just my personal preference in more traditional high quality nigiri.Third time I ordered through UberEats during Thanksgiving week as I was done cooking with the kids being home and having an out-of-state guest here. This time it was a simple California roll and the same Yuzi ramen. The ramen was overly salty so taking a star off because of a consistency issue. I'm quite sure we will reorder and revisit this place, I hope they do well in Lakeway!

Quite frankly, not sure what all the hype is about. Based on the reviews I was hoping for a halfway decent meal. Unfortunately that was not the case. My husband and I ordered the Ramen, gyoza and chicken teriyaki bento box. $55 later we were totally disappointed and still hungry. Unfortunately, the food was not tasty, it was cold and a sad representation for Japanese food.
