Concha

“El Mejor Pan is my go-to panederia every time I'm back in Laredo. I think they make the best regalos in town because they are soft, filled with a generous amount of jelly and have the perfect amount of sugar coating. While there we were attended to by the owner's grandson who provided stellar customer service. I just hope they are able to replace their outdoor sign soon, as it was destroyed.“

Gonzalez Bakery & Cake Shop Bakery •
301 W Calton Rd, Laredo

“Great bread here. This location is smaller than the one on Arkansas. Therefore, there's less of a selection. The bread has always been fresh. They also have bolillos and bread for tortas. Both are very big. I'd recommend this panadería.“

“They’re bread is so yummy. I got a variety and they all tasted real good. My favorite is the Cinnamon Roll- I’ve gotten their bolillos and they’re so soft. :) recommend y’all head early since they run out of bread and you’re left with fewer options.“

Pano's Bakery Bakery • $$
4401 McPherson Rd, Laredo

“I love this place. The sweet bread is fresh and very good. Another point that makes this place stand out from the others is that the bread is not OVERLY sweet (Too Much Sugar). The pricing is awesome. You will walk out with so much for a great price. They also accept SNAP here. Only issue I came across is that there are no public bathrooms here, but it's ok. You won't spend more than 20 minutes here due to speed of the workers here. It's usually an elderly woman that is behind the counter, but she moves quickly. Please go and check it out, you won't regret it.“

Gonzalez Bakery & Cake Shop Bakery • $
4910 Zapata Hwy # 2, Laredo

“This by far is the BEST pan dulce I've ever had! The bread lasts soft and delicious for up to 4 days, not like other bakeries that by the next day they're rock solid! The ladies there have the best customer service. I also ordered my sons birthday cake from there and he loved it and it was delicious!“

“La Reynera is old! I think it has been here since November of 1978....and it is not going anywhere! There is always a jam for parking which is very limited. They have however secured some additional parking from the closed store across the street. You can expect to pay 1990 prices too! Very affordable compared to most restaurants today. Laredo's finest elderly love this place and it is always packed for breakfast. I would come here more for the huevos rancheros than the pan. Not too much selection of baked goods. Looks like an old diner with cheap tables and chairs, but great food and coffee. Our food always comes out really quick and the service is always pleasant. I love the quaint historic feel of this place. Feels like a time warp to the 70's!Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.“
