“Came for lunch after Mass and had a wonderful time. I prefer this location over the other location on the loop. I had a bowl of tortilla soup ($9) as my appetizer and shrimp aguachile ($20) as my entree. Both were delicious. Our girls got enchiladas suizas and my husband got a cup of tortilla soup ($4.50) and tacos de fajita and pastor. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The live music added pleasantly to the ambiance. We went to La Roca last weekend and didn't have a great time. I highly recommend this place.“
“Rocha’s was an amazing spot to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary! Thank you to the owners for the amazing service, best service I’ve gotten in ALL LAREDO!!❤️ The food was chefs kiss and the drinks were crafted so perfectly too - the bartenders were nice enough to help me choose a celebratory drink the house because of our wedding anniversary! This place is nothing like any other in Laredo! We were here for the dinner but we sure will be back for the brunch tomorrow!? the atmosphere and music was also top tier! Amazing photo ops! ?“
“This was my first time at this location. The food was well presented and fresh. I had the oyster shot, which is something different and acquired taste. The octopus was not chewy but soft, and the tentacles crispy cooked just right. The Chipotle salmon was the meal that for me was beyond five stars. The freshness and smokey taste of the salmon paired well with the Chipotle sauce. The location is very clean and inviting.“
“reat service. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Our food is always prepared and served the way it's requested. This is my favorite Chili's location! I travel once a month to Laredo and this place is always a stop I look forward to making.“
“You really can never go wrong with AJs. Even after taking a year off due to a pandemic, it's still the place to be to sing karaoke and have a great time. And yes, they do take reasonable precautions against the virus. I sincerely hope this place lasts for years to come. Laredo needs more places like AJ's.“
“WOW ! This seafood restaurant has a diverse selection of dishes to choose from. I will be glad to give them another visit. This was my first time there where my father and myself were recommended to have lunch. I ordered a seafood cocktail called vuelve la Vida, it had octopus, oysters, shrimp, crab, and more! I also enjoyed some very tasty fish tacos. It is a great place to eat and treat yourself to some great seafood!“
“This was my first layover here in Loredo. I decided after checking into my hotel to explore the area for some good food and shopping. This restaurant luckily was right outside my hotel doors. Upon opening the door to the restraunt, there was a female employee wiping and sanitizing the food menus. I asked to take a peek at one while I decided to stay and dine or continue exploring. The first thing I saw was the mangorita, then the Mexican style shrimp meatball soup caught my attention. After looking over the menu w/ a little Spanish translator app, I was able to ask questions about some food and drink items that were on the menu. The nice gentleman waiter and female employee cleaning the menus were very accommodating, understanding, and patient w/ me. Immediately after I decided to try out this restaurant, I was then escorted to a booth in the dining area. The restaurant had so much character. Was very large, open, welcoming, and definitely represented the Mexican culture in such an upscale way. Upon being seated, another waiter came up to introduce himself and asked me my drink order. I ordered a mangorita. Within jus a couple minutes I was brought some fresh fried tortillas, as well as tortilla chips w/ assortment of dips, refried beans, fresh pico de gallo, avocado sauce and some fresh halfed limes w/ a hand held citrus extractor. Shortly after that, my drink was dropped off and looked yummy. For my meal, I ordered the albondigas de camaron (aka shrimp meatball soup). The soup was very filling and full of flavor, which was so delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by and dining at this restaurant. Can't wait to visit here again and try other menu items ?“
“Want to give a shout out to Rick Chavez, the manager at this location. I got to the restaurant with a party of 10 (family). The visit started bad, won't mention why because the results were great... I called the manager (Rick) and explained the situation and he immediately made things good, so he did a great job!!“
“Excellent restaurant. The steaks and other entrees are delicious. The dining areas are clean and beautiful and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. The serving staff is very courteous and helpful too! It costs a little more to dine here but its well worth the money if you want a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. Perfect for business meetings or that special night out with your date or family. My favorite steak place in Laredo!“
“Food was top notch. Atmosphere is on point if you like sports bars/ restaurants. Only ding is prices of drinks. First off... Double anything is literally charged as double anything (x2), also without knowing after 12 drink prices raise by a big margin. If you don't know you will be surprised once you go to pay your tab. However service from all of the hosts are on point.“
“My 2nd home! Love this bar since I can remember in the early 90's late 80's when people would be inside with their guns in the hip while playing pool. Back in the days!!! I was there. Through out my 20's & 30's. Now it's not the same for me. But I'll always love this place. Wishing the best for the new owners!!! ?. Ty CheersFrom: Raven ? RBJ. CAWWW!!!“
“Great place to get a nice cold beer. What I love about "On the Rocks Traven" they serve their Tequila shots in a chilled shot glass. They also have live music on Friday's and Saturday's and no cover an other great benefit. Great selection of beers, vodkas, whiskeys, bourbon, and of course my favorite" Tequilas". For sure a must visit place. What are you waiting for get to ON THE ROCKS TAVERN!“
“My go to place to attend with family when in Laredo Tx. Saturday's they have a love DJ, plays all music and always have a blast. Not crowded, more locals that attend , laid back and 1 pool table. Family owned and really attentive to all! JESSICA is a blast, always checking on everyone making sure you are attended to at all times! Love this place.. CARMINE FROM SAN ANTONIO.“
“Excellent place! Definitely the newest and bestest spot in town. Went for brunch and food was delicious. Inside decor is beautiful feels like Vegas but fancier! Tie the Santa Barra Benny's with mimosas!Excellent place!! Delicious food, super beautiful inside, and spectacular service!! Since we arrived, Mr. Julio Reyes took great care of us! Very friendly and attentive! We feel super comfortable in the place! Without a doubt we will continue to go more times!“
“I have been going to place since I was a kid, which goes to show they must be doing something right because they have been in business for so long. From their juicy steaks to their delicious mexican recipes, not to mention their irresistible, gigantic fried mushrooms! The only problem with this place is what to order! Haha!Vegetarian options: Made to order. No problem.Kid-friendliness: A kid can be a kid.Parking: First come, better spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Everywhere is easily accessible.Dietary restrictions: Exactly to your liking.“
