I was excited to visit the recently remodeled eatery and it was wonderful. However, I was extremely dis-appointed upon tasting the food. New management, yes, but they kept the cook or cooks, or maybe the same recipes. The rice and beans are ok separately. They taste terrible combined! Why is bay leaf so prominent in most guisos? Just my opinion

Won't be back. I ordered Carne guisada plate and got Carne Seca con papas.i ordered some water wash it down. The water was from the faucet...ugh tasted horrible .minus 0 stars...

Order the chicken fried steak the sauce was to watering need more to make it a bit more heavy. Veggies some of them were still cold had to leave them on the side. There fries were good like the idea of condiments in glass shots. Area was to dark and menu need more coloring some of the items were fuzzy to read. Lemonade is expensive especially when the cup is serve with mostly ice to the brim also my fault for not mentioning to waitress.

If you're in the mood for some authentic mexican food look no further, La Casita has a variety of super yummy plates at a more than reasonable price! My friend and I tried the enchiladas rojas con pollo, as well as the chilaquiles Verdes. Both were full of flavor and the portions were more than enough! I also believe that they give a little cup of soup to all the customers which is a nice touch, and it tastes very good. Will most definitely come back!
