First arriving atmosphere nice the picture on the walls fit the bistro style. We sat down and were offered drinks. So far so good until we wait for about 8min to get our menu. A couple came after us and they were given their drinks and menu. I hadn’t noticed what the waiter was doing or why she took a while but she said she had forgotten. No problem we ordered and waited. It took our food a minimum of 50 min to an hour arrive. I know it might sound like a ridiculous amount but my siblings had enough time to go next door and buy pastrys. We had ordered the angus burger, cornflakes chicken sandwich, and the 3hour red wine short rib. When I saw my plate which was the short rib I noticed the asparagus was still raw. The meat was warm and flavorless. It tasted as if the meat was in a slow cooker with no red wine. The mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and red wine sauce were what carried that dish. Surprisingly the angus burger was better than the 25 dollar short rib. Our waitress never used a note pad to get our order and had to double back and ask for one of our orders. She was busy at the expedite window waiting for others peoples orders while we waited for a refill. So we had to ask another waiter for our refill. I know the bistros has no fault over bad service but they do have the fault on how the food comes out.

They used to have an excellent burger. I ordered one today and it was clearly made from a preformed, commercially sold frozen patty. I won't be paying $17 for that again.

The estimated wait time provided over the phone was not accurate upon arrival, resulting in a longer wait than expected. Improved communication regarding wait times would enhance the overall experience.

Peanut sesame crusted tuna was good but under seasoned…same with the tomato bisque. Fantastic service and decent food, just bring some salt lol! Also, a little pricey.

Not enough seating places inside restaurant. Waited for the food close to 40 minutes yes I timed it. Had to sit outside because there was no space inside, it was hot there were no fans. Chicken needed flavor and the barbacoa torta was not that great food wise 2/10. It was close to 25$ per person. Over all perhaps order take out definitely do not recommend brunch time . Bugs everywhere outside couldn't really enjoy our meal, waitress forgot there were people outside no refills. Maybe some other people have had other experiences tried this place 3 times and sadly it has not changed.

Found this gem! I saw a few interesting menu items while searching for restaurants in Laredo.I was greeted by friendly and accommodating staff and decided to sit at the bar since I was dining alone. The manager, Mauricio, asked if I had dined with them before. I said no and he explained some of the restaurant's concepts.I started with the appetizer that caught my attention from the website - Veracruzana Style Fresh Sea Bass Ceviche and also ordered The Baja Style Lobster Taco. The ceviche was a very generous portion of Sea Bass served with avocado and tostados. It came with a spoon which you will definitely want to use to capture every savory bite. The Lobster Taco was overflowing with lobster chunks, saffron rice, black beans, avocado and creamy chipotle plus a spicy tart salsa to top it off.The craftsman bartender, Miguel, was hard at work making fantastic beverages. I had the Smokey Guava -mezcal, guava nectar, lime & grapefruit juice, agave nectar & chia. It was exquisite! All of their juices are fresh squeezed...My entree was the Homemade Mole Poblano - smothered shredded chicken in the best mole that I have had since visiting deep interior Mexico decades ago. I have been searching for great mole ever since and they have all fallen short until now. ? Served with almond rice - almond slices not slivers.Overall the service and the food were perfect. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. Vegetarian options are available as well. The casual atmosphere is a welcome change for a fine dining experience!

After 15 min wait . I just asked for my check instead, then addin insult to injury she brings my check with da glass of water.

Very Impressed with this little place. Cozy, clean, nice setup, decor is very cute. Pictures on the wall are cool, music in the background is so relaxing, ambience is nice.Few things that I would do, is to add mirrors on the walls, and dim the lights as the sun sets accordingly.Food was delicious, waiter was very knowledgeable and knew what to recommend. He was very attentive and food came in a timely manner.Menu: Lots of items to choose from and nice diversity.Beet salad: BIG portion which is good, taste very fresh, balanced and zesty.Roasted beef brisket: Meat is cooked to perfection, very tender, texture is soft, marination was absolutely savory. The combination of asparagus, mushrooms and mashed Potatoes compliments the meat. I would add carrots to give the plate some color.Desserts: Chocolate cake was really soft, icing was very balanced and not too sugary. The latte was amazing, creamy and nicely presented.I would definitely go back and visit.Highly recommended ?
