We hadn't visited Marla's in a while and we left there with big smiles and full stomachs. The renovations inside were spectacular. Our chicken & waffles were amazing. All of us ordered it, including a teenager, and he couldn't have been happier with the decision. We look forward to our next visit.

Very decent brunch spot. Went while it wasn't busy so the wait wasn't long. I've driven by during peak hours and the parking lot was busy! Had the benedict eggs with the biscuit and avocado and they were very tasty. The biscuits were soft. The dish also came with very well seasoned potatoes.

Trying it for the first time. The chocolate Abuela is to die for! Biscuits are also a must. The picadillo is phenomenal - the perfect blend of garlic and spices. The only not so great thing were the refried beans - they needed a lot of salt.Other than that, this was definitely a positive experience. otherr mentioned a long wait to get in or for food but we experienced none of that. We went on a Sunday morning when you typically see these places crowded.

We went in a Sunday and did not experience the long wait for food or to be seated. The Mexican hot chocolate is to die for. They add Mexican marshmallows and it gives it this amazing flavor. I tried a biscuit and it was delicious The star of the show in my opinion was the picadillo. Perfect blend of spices, garlic etc.

This was a really great experience. I go the Marla in México and the difference is huge! Its like a whole other place. And the food is delicious. Great service.

1st Time here. Visiting my Mother for her Birthday so she wanted to Go to her favorite restaurant Marla's, here in Laredo, Tx. Real Fancy Danzy, and Really Clean place. Food Plate Presentation is Beautiful with no sloppiness. Food was good and tasty. The only complaint I have is there prices and they need more menu choices. But I will be back.

Portions are small and pricy. Food is bland and not much seasoning. I appreciate the attempt to create something different and unique for Laredo though but I noticed the majority of people left food at the table as if they didn't like the food. Can't help but think that this place needs major improvements with portion sizes and seasoning.

We enjoy their breakfast/brunch menu. All food is made fresh so food wait times are a bit longer but well worth it. The restaurant is short staffed like the whole world is it the moment. Yet, the staff works very well as a team and help each other out. They seem to enjoy their jobs and makes for good customer service.

Place has declined in so many ways sadly ! The staff is very disorganized and they think just because they remodeled and turned it into a brunchery they are better ? Sorry but your trying so hard to copy la finca or any other brunch restaurant it's not gonna work. That's not all they won't let you pay in person if your doing an order for pick up making you pay Over the phone but you can pay in person if it's cash only. I get the whole Covid pandemic That doesn't make any sense! Im sorry, but Imiss the old Marla Restaurant hopefully you go back to the way y'all were because it was so much better ! other than that I wish this restaurant well

It definitely doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a cute space inside. I had the Mexican Benedicts. They were fresh and tasty. The green chili sauce was definitely not a hollandaise, it wasn't rich and creamy. The potatoes were cooked perfectly but weren't seasoned, so I had to add salt and pepper. My husband's chilaquiles were great. Definitely the best thing we ordered. We ordered tres leches pancakes to share with our daughter and they were underwhelming and dry. No real flavor to the pancakes, a little vanilla extract, cinnamon and sugar in the batter would have helped. They also just had a little drizzle of condensed milk on top, definitely not tres leches. We wouldn't get pancakes here again. The service was good and it wasn't busy on an early Tuesday afternoon. We would go back for the chilaquiles and maybe try something else on the menu.

Great little breakfast place. Stopped on a Sunday morning, and was pleasantly surprised by this little hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back to truth other specialities here.

30 minute wait time for food to arrive at 10am is absurd. But the Chilaquiles Tehuacan are on point and delicious

It was my first time going to Marla's since they revamped their location, and they did an amazing job at it. The food was great, and my daughter can definifely vouch :)

One of the best restaurants i have visited in a long time. With a blend of Mexican and vegan style food, their avacado toast is to die for. Service is quick and price-wise its a steal. 9.5 out of 10
