NOTICE TO THE PUBLICI was excited to try this restaurant because it was highly recommended. First thing I noticed was the lack of a friendly greeting from the staff. We got the menus and ordered 2 coffees and 2 plates of chicken and waffles. The food had a decent presentation. When I tried the chicken I noticed it was very hard to chew and had a strange taste and a rotten odor. I cut open the chicken tender to smell the inside and it definitely was rotten. The smell was horrible on both plates that were served. I called the waitress to let her know that the chicken was rotten and she took the plates. The lady that was by the register follows the waitress to the kitchen and after a few minutes the waitress comes out to ask us if we wanted to order something else from the menu. I refused to order anything else due to the fact that I was sickened by the rotten chicken. The waitress confirmed that the chicken was in fact rotten because of the smell and the color of the chicken. All in all, this was a very bad first experience at Vica’s. Serving your clients rotten chicken makes me question the staff’s integrity in serving fresh food. Overall the staff was very rude and we did not even get an apology from the manager or the owner. I give zero stars rating to this restaurant.

I have to say that this is a case where the food is great but the service os just horrible. The owners are very rude , they make you feel like if you are a burden . They make faces for everything. The food is good but because of the horrible service I think I will be ordering to go from now on . The lady at the register just isn’t a people person and HAS NO BUSINESS working in the service industry
