I believe our waitresses name was Jessica, I might have that wrong but she was really good and they gave us such a big bowl pasta. I couldn’t believe it, but they do say everything in Texas is bigger so they aren’t lying about that when they talk about Joe’s Italian Grill & pizza! You definitely can’t go wrong with this place and you have a whole other meal to take home with you. Excellent highly recommended!”

“Stopped by for a local lunch after stopping in Livingston to charge my Tesla. Easy parking on the street. I got the turkey sandwich with bacon and avocado. Delicious with a nice pepper flavor from the turkey. Served with home made potato chips and served on a custom board for the plate. A great stop, friendly service and a nice casual atmosphere.”

“We stopped in while pulling out 32 foot camper for lunch. We were greeted right away and staff was very friendly. Food was really great we had cheese sticks as an appetizer and chicken fried steak as the main entree. Food was cooked properly and had great flavor. Will come back when we go back to Baytown to visit family.”

“Great casual Steakhouse on Highway 59N./ aka i-69 in the growing Lake Livingston area.Been there twice in the last few months, each under different names, thankfully; the Food Remains the Same complimented with friendly service and good food. Ribeye Steaks generously sized 2XL were masterfully grilled & large enough to served my wife & daughter twice more at home.Finally ordered 2 deserts for 4 to share, N.Y. Cheesecake, missed NY by few States; and a Creme Brulee Cheesecake that was acceptable, likely a convenient store bought, defrosted, & reStated. & That's all I have to say about desserts.A notable upgrade, is the downing of card processing cost, previously reassigned as a customer expense & responsibility.Good Food... Great People......Dessert is optional...”

“My husband and I stopped here while traveling through Livingston based on their online 5 star reviews. The service was exceptional as was the authentic Mexican food. We enjoyed sitting outside with a lovely view of the golf course. We were treated like royalty by all the staff, and impressed when the chef came around to each of the tables. “My husband and I found this gem by accident. We are from Houston, built a lake house on a small lake in Goodrich. We were babysitting our grandson this past week. We needed him to take a nap so we took him for a ride. Taking the back roads we came upon the Municipal Golf Course in Livingston. This restaurant was next door to the golf course but there was a locked gate so we couldn’t get through. We googled the restaurant and found the road that went to the restaurant . We came for dinner tonight on Saturday night. Dinner was delicious and margaritas excellent. My husband ordered cheese enchiladas but got beef fajita enchiladas by mistake…we both loved them and will order them again. I am a very picky tamale eater so I ordered one tamale a la Carte…loved it with queso and salsa on top. Yum! We will definitely be regulars here!”
