Servers are sweet and can answer any and all questions.Food was delicious, felt home cooked and was served in HUGE portions. This was a highly anticipated visit that did not disappoint in the slightest! When arriving, there was about line out the door along with a 30 minute wait. I knew I was in for a good meal. Once seated the food was out between 10 to 15 minutes and I must say.. it was delicious. I had the Lone Star breakfast which consists of 3 eggs, a choice of two piece of eat and Pancakes. I went with the Blueberry Riscotta pancakes and they were as fluffy as I've ever had! Added the San Antonio Burger to the meal because I wanted a taste of both breakfast and lunch! Fantastic. With it being donation only I. Made sure to leave a bit extra as it is going to a great cause! They have a new patron in me and I can't wait to go back!

Oh.my.gosh!!! Yum! Fair warning...there's probably a wait but it is WORTH IT! The service was great (shout out to Seth), the food was delicious, and the restaurant is so fun. Can't say it better than my 8-year old 'Let me know when you're ready for your mouth to be amazed; best French toast ever'

From the minute we walked in the front door we were greeted with a big smile and a friendly hello. And that was just the beginning of a fantastic morning. Service was great. The ambiance was very eclectic- warm and friendly. Lots of inspirational quotes. And then there's the food. What can I say about the food except for wow. There was nothing that we ordered that wasn't incredible. The look, the taste, the smell. It was a delightful adventure for all of your senses. I wish there was a few more sugar-free choices, but if you're not worried about it this is the place to take that sweet tooth of yours. Pancakes were delicious. There was a lot of whipped cream on the table on the different items lol. Truly a great morning. And some really great Benedict choices. I haven't tried them all yet but I'm working my way through. Don't forget the specialty coffee. All of this and for a great cause as well, it makes the meal even more delicious!

This place this food the people oh my goodness. AHHHMAZING, when I tell you the food had so much flavor it really had flavor and it was so freakin delicious. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I love what they represent ever more. This is a pay what you want place, of course my fiancé and I paid $60 plus, because that is what we would normally spend out eating we are huge foodies. Plus we got a lot of food. And it is only right to pay a decent amount because these people are hard workers. The wait is definitely long and crazy but I love the food here so I don't mind the wait and it is cash only for all those first timers they have an ATM there if you didn't bring cash. Also the coffee here is so good.

This place was absolutely phenomenal! The people were so honest and positive and very good at their job. The food is out of this world and the portions are huge. I love the idea that this is a nonprofit and that everyone there is a recovering addict and that it is a donation based organization. I have been telling everybody about this place and I will continue to tell them you should all go and try comfort Café. It is definitely a keeper.Kid-friendliness: The kids portions were perfect and the kids ate every bite. They loved it.
